raina is a beast in t20s

With his recent development lets hope he is ready to take it to the next level as well.

I would welcome his inclusion into the test side. You can't always wait for a player to take the usual route, sometimes a player is just ready to take the opportunity and I think after the improvement I saw in Raina in Eng in ODIs on bouncy tracks, which used to be his nemises, I would say let him take the step up, he is ready.

Atleast try this side in Aus ... I think ppl may be surprised. Raina can bowl a few overs too.

Who's that fielding?

LOL - MSD once again questions his bowlers openly - Link

"With our bowling struggling slightly it was important to get those 15-20 extra runs, even if we go down (losing wickets) trying to get those runs.
"If you want to win tournaments you have to come up with better (bowling) performances, our batsmen won't score 240 every time."

Gotta feel bad for the bowlers at times like these :P Don't think the batsmen had the plight of their bowlers in their minds when they went after those extra 15-20 runs

I don't know how many of you remember the exact date !!!

I remember being excited by it. T20 was still a new format being discovered. Winning it was great. However looking back now, I think I would not rate it that high. Apart from the obvious big gun tournaments that India have won, there are numerous ODI triangular series, which in isolation don't mean much, but still give me more pride, than World T20. Some examples being - Hero Cup, Titan Cup, The Sharjah Cup (Desert Storm one), Natwest Trophy, VB Series in Aus. These are not even actual tournaments, but honestly I tihnk winning them was a bigger achievement than winning the World T20.

Having said this, at the time we won the World T20, it was indeed a great feeling. But largely because T20 has failed to be cricket, at least for me, I would rate it rather low in India's trophy list.
