Pak (cheesesarni) v Zim Legend-zee)

Zim 221 20 overs

Pak 60 all out 7 overs

no report match was a farse.

but we i started the new game and u didnt mention anything about starting from 21/3 in 9 overs because if u wanted to then i would have done that but you instead played a rematch which we played 3/4's of and the other we didnt even play half which is why i believe the second match should be taken into account he also has a decent enough team to try and chase it if you dont agree then just SHARE THE POINTS

But the first game was more or less won and u did not get me asking why u had quit! unlike u did with me in the second! Anyway its done u hav won end of.

well played

There still seems to be a lot of unpleasantness around the last game between legendzee and chesearnie so I am cancelling the win primarily since it is nfair to set a target based on run rate (I could be 30/0 in 2 overs doesnt mean the other team should chase 300 in 20 overs). Duckworth lewis shows the score to be 193 to win.

I am sorry legendzee you must have bowled exceptionally well to dismiss cheesearnie for 60 but in a T20 there is a lot of diffrence in chasing a 221 and 193. Without taking anything away from your performance since u won u can make the decision of either choosing to
1. share a point each
2. continue match from 158/2 in 14.5 overs with cheesearnie having to bowl 5.1 overs (bowl 6 overs with first 5 being dot balls) and Legend bowling his 20 overs in a new unranked match

It is unacceptable to accuse any participant of quitting as all players have been verified as non quitters by a number of tourney members. Any more such instances would not be taken lightly.

Auckland ZIM(legendZEE08) V S.L (gougie) ZIM won toss bat first

ZIM 195/8 20 overs

S Williams 89* (36) D Fernando 3/39 4
H Streak 24 (17) F Mahroof 3/40 4
B Mohaire 23 (17) T Thuprada 1/44 4
H Madaszka 20 (17) Murali 1/52 4

SRI L 196/5 19.3 overs

M Jayawardena 36 (25) B Mohaire 3/19 4
F Mahroof 34* (16) W Mokayunga 1/55 4
C Kapadena 33 (27)
M Wanusuna 32* (17)

SRI LANKA win by 5 wickets

ZIM lost early wickets, but still maintained an healthy run rate, and at one point could have easilly folded for around 100 runs, finding themselves on around 60/70 for 6 after about 8 overs, but then in came S Williams who hit the ball all over the park, and finished with an stunning 89 in 36 balls, this combined with a couple ov 20's from the tailend made a very competative score of 195/8. :clap
In response ZIM kept it really tight early on, pushing the run rate upto 11/12 an over, but it came at a cost as ZIM used 3 overs each of Streak and Blignaut in the power play overs only taking 1 wicket, S.L then cruised along at 8/9 an over but never let the rate get much over 12 runs an over, just waiting for the spin to be introduced, which did in the 13th over and has ZIM had only taken 4 wickets,so S.L had plenty left to push on, ZIM managed 1 more wicket before a quality 50 run partnership between Mahroof and Wanasuna saw the visitors home with 3 balls to spare.

Great game well played ZEE.
Also lilas, i think you should state in the rules that any game disconnected from here on in, carries on from where it ended in a new unranked game, we used this in last tourney and had no problems at all.

Ok just got done playing Krish, he had every single and I mean every single fielder inside the ring and all the exploit catching positions. Short cover, short xtra cover, short midwicket etc. Then he only bowled an off stump attacking wickets line the exact same length. I lost 3 batsman to perfect shots and that was it. I played out the rest of the match and let him have it. I also forfeit my next match against him.

Krish says that everyone is using these tactics now. So if you are in my group and use these tactics just go ahead and have the win. If you want to play some real cricket then we can play our group matches.

thats just not cricket , no skill, 3 of my top 5 were perfect shots in the covers. If ever one is playing that way then this game has gone to the dogs. It used to be about talent and out bowling your opponent, not just sticking all close fielders and bowling an attacking line at off stump, any retarded orangutan can do that.
,

guys this tourney is having unusual hiccups

@hamarka didn't he kept 2 fielders outside the ring after 6 overs as the rules suggest ???

lonewolf5646 added 2 Minutes and 47 Seconds later...

also make sure everyone is participating including psymax
i asked him yesterday about his participation on psn but no reply
if he is not interested we can give SA to a good player

dude, You chose the wrong shots. You could have waited till first the 6 overs were up and the field to open up, or you could have hit over the top of the fielders. It doesnt matter if they were perfect shots, if you hit it straight to a fielder. You said you lost 3 top players to the same shot(perfect shots). Well you should have realised that you were playing it in the wrong direction after your first wicket fell. You repeated the same shot, and you lost wickets. Too bad you had to forfeit, as I genuinely didn't do anything wrong, and I am absolutely not sorry for it.

I used the same tactics with Rizzyx, Thandamilk, Lilas, Legendboy20, and so did they, and there is nothing wrong in it.

I also believe that one of the tourney rules is 'not complaing about the custom field settings'. Anyways, here are the scores.

PLEASE IGNORE THIS SCORE CARD. MATCH REPLAYED WITH NEW SCORES UPDATED IN THE THREAD

3 perfect lofted shots all caught in short positions. Every single person inside ring in catching position. Thats not skill, thats winning at all costs. Enjoy the victory.

lilas the tourney is not going in right direction
i think we shud rectify the things sooner than later
and i wud urge everyone to plz read rules carefully as most of the things have been stated there
we had a very good tourney last time and hope the same this time

also if there is a conn lost u shud start the game from where it lost conn
we did that in last tourney
ask Rizzy in the semi final we had almost 20 conn lost some even after 1 over but we stuck to the rule of starting from where conn is lost

Hitting the same "perfect shots" over and over again ,for which u lost a wicket in the first place is also not skill mate. And by the way winning at all costs by being within the laws of the game is not wrong. Everybody wants to win this! I did not enjoy this victory-u made sure of that! But again....I do not feel sorry for what i did..Cheers and I wish you all the best for the rest of the games!
