IPL 2nd Semi: Chennai Super Kings v Royal Challengers Bangalore

It's frustrating because I think Bangalore are a distinctly average team, yet they've been allowed to get away with it here because of the low total. I was disappointed with the way Hayden gave away his wicket. He didn't need to play the shot he did, because there was already 9 from the over. It was simply a case of running the two singles and getting the runs into double figures from the over.

omg this Manish Pandey lad is making me crazy. .he is just 19yr old, was in under-19 world cup winning side, has such good technique, scored century in T20 at such a young age, sweet timer ,thrashed hyderabad, thumping chennai, wow.
another talent whom i'll have close watch from now on :D

I agree with what Ian Bishop is saying about him though. Chennai haven't bowled in the correct manner to him.

In fact, the bowling as a whole has been poor. The fielding has been even worse. Muralitharan needs to go through at least three of their batsmen here to give CSK just a sniff. Problem is that the rest of the sub-standard attack (Gony in particular, no idea how he's in the team) have given away so many runs that they can afford to defend against Murali, see off his four overs, and then attack the rest of the rubbish that comes on after him.

Accuracy is what matters in bowling.. Banglore deserves the win.. They were spot on with more accuracy in the bowling. CSK are just struggling. I seriously don't know what is going to happen..

Mind says, " Bangalore deserves to win " and heart says, " CSK should somehow win! "

This is depressing. Dhoni hasn't been cool as a captain, his batting got us into a hole, and his fielding has been below par too. His trademark as a captain as leading from the front has been off, and as a result CSK look average as a team. The captain has to inspire.

It's all over for CSK now. With Pandey and The Wall looking cool at the crease.

Manish Pandey .......... future looks great :clap only 19yrs :D

And BTW, how unique, isn't it? RCB and DC- two teams which finished the last in IPL 1- has set the stage on fire in IPL 2! Wow! One has already reached the finals, the other is almost there! Those same two teams!! Very little change...still! Amazing! Really amazing! Bravo Gilly!! :clap Bravo Anil!! :clap I don't know why, but I find a lot of similarity between '06 WC's France and this IPL's Bangalore. It's quite a rags to riches story. Both teams struggled like anything when the tournaments started, but underwent a miracle recovery towards the end. Though France couldn't win the Cup, still, they tried their level best. Don't know whether same will happen with Bangalore. :p Anyway, both these teams are real fighters, terrific fighters. I can't help appreciating RCB's comeback. It's just too good to be true! Like some fairytale. Bravo RCB! Chak De!!!

It was pretty tight until Raina gave it away with that over.
