This bowling attack is pathetic. You cannot win games with such an atrocious set of bowlers.

Biggest mistake was bringing on Balaji when the run rate was up at 8.1. Instead, Murali should have come back, and applied further pressure to take that over nine. What happened was Balaji was terrible, and then allowed RCB to ease the pressure.

Im having my semster exams going on now.I thought I need to sacrifice my sleep seeing the finals tommorow when I have my E.Mech exam on Monday.I dont need to do that now.
We've been outplayed by RCB.I wont agree with people who say Dhoni was overconfident.He was nowhere overconfident.He was inspiring in tough situations.One must have seen him smile after Raina conceded that second six to Virat Kohli.That just shows his character.
Anyways RCB deserved that win and are all geared up to face DC tomorow.

I agree with what Ian Bishop is saying about him though. Chennai haven't bowled in the correct manner to him.

In fact, the bowling as a whole has been poor. The fielding has been even worse. Muralitharan needs to go through at least three of their batsmen here to give CSK just a sniff. Problem is that the rest of the sub-standard attack (Gony in particular, no idea how he's in the team) have given away so many runs that they can afford to defend against Murali, see off his four overs, and then attack the rest of the rubbish that comes on after him.

Great performance by RCB. Their innings was well crafted and unlike Chennai they got runs in the middle overs. Who would have bet that DC and RCB would be the finalist, anyone who did must be a rich man.

I thought they would introduce Murali in the powerplays (because against Punjab, he did the trick). Balaji is hopeless. I feel they should look to strengthen their bowling attack for the next IPL. Our bowling has been toothless barring a few.

Seriously what were those two bowling :confused: When you have a strong offside field, you bowl in leg side to give easy 2's and boundaries? Balaji :laugh :rtfl, you are a real legend! :hpraise :

RCB outplayed CSK. Their bowlers made sense to the bowling. Our bowlers except Jakati and Murali.. were clueless on what they were bowling. In particular, Balaji and Ghony. They were supposed to be the strike bowlers but they always stay on the side of getting smashed.

The two teams which were on the bottom last time, are facing each other in finals.. That is going to be a cracking contest! :happy

KP should have gone really mad to see RCB in finals.. When KP was the captain, they were in the bottom.. can you just believe that Kumble has turn the cards for RCB? :hpraise 7 wins out of 9 games is really amazing! :hpraise

Goni was once again very expensive,Murli bowled well but the target they posted was a bit short,SCK has done a good job in both IPL versions,last time they were in IPL final,now they lost in semis,overall they are good side,consistent in both editions.

As I expected the CSK bowling was way too suspect to perform when the pressure was on. The batting wasn't great either, if Hussey is over here what a waste of time it was flying him out.

It does show how much they relied on Hayden to make the big score as once he went no one looked like making a 50.
