Looks like a good toss to win, England bat deep and Australia are a bit down on pace.

On the other hand, the pace has been costly and perhaps straighter bowling is a positive. Pietersen is a good one to have on a belter and England start to look a bit less imposing without him, even with patchy form.

Egg on the face of the English selectors is getting larger as each game goes. Prior has not looked comfortable at all especially compared to Davies.

So Davies scored 42 in the first game. What's the betting in the last 6, that Prior doesn't get past that total runs aggregate?

I could see why they wanted to give Prior a go at some point in the tour, but they've actually dropped Davies, haven't they?

Good start for the Aussies. Why is Prior opening the batting? Where is Bell.

Prior just isn't an opener though, especially not an aggressive one. The only place he could bat is 4 or 5 and he's not better than the players we have there, so it's a crazy selection. Especially if he keeps getting shown up by a bit of swing.

Good start from the Aussie bowlers, Lee and Bollinger have given nothing away. Until Trott just played a superb cover drive.

This guy is trying too many things, slower ball, slower bouncer, just bowl straight first.

Why did Clarke change the bowling?

wtf!
