4th Test: England v Australia at Leeds

Mitchell Johnson bowling well, keeping it on the pitch...

or not.

?

Possibly not, would have made 1 ton though I reckon. 3 centuries in 3 innings is no mean feat, irrespective of the opposition. One of only 6 players (possibly 6 Englishmen can't remember the stat) to have achieved that. He's no mug, and I think gets alot of unfair criticism just because of the opposition he scored his runs against. He'd have been slagged off if he failed, but he made a hundred in both innings batting 3, and still gets baited. Very harsh on the guy, I'm convinced he's good enough for Test cricket.

Nah, South Africa don't really drop too many catches.

Harmy would be proud of that.

Haha Warne ripping into Bopara, he really has something against him.

Dan you kept defending Broad and he's pants and now you're doing the same with Bopara. Both of them have potential, but neither of them are Test quality at this moment in time. I wouldn't play Bopara for Lancs let alone England.

So Ravi Bopara's single handedly to blame for England being 42/4 :laugh I know people like to have a scapegoat, but that's very harsh. He played a bat shot, he's not going enough to be batting 3, but he is not the sole reason we're in this position.
I mean playing him instead of a proper batsman is the issue. You can't play Bopara when you already have a player who has yet to perform when the team needs him and a batsman not good enough to make it purely on his batting in most teams in your lineup. Playing Bopara when you already have Bell and Colly just makes it so weak. Bell and Colly as it is both can get out cheaply. Strauss playing a loose shot didn't help. And the you have Bopara who can't score. Considering you can't drop Colly and Bell has just come in, then yea, playing Bopara is the main reason for England's situation.

*changes channel to Lanka/Pak ODI*

I guess England's excuse will be that they're missing thier two best players. David Lloyd already mentioned it, we'll here it all week.

Clark, you beast.

Every wicket is a shotgun up Jamie Cox's backside!
