4th Test: England v Australia at Leeds

Lmao, Clark's figures at lunch. What also makes me laugh is Stuart Brad still in the team.

England to lose teh Ashes 2-1! Just seems so right for it to happen. We need to make some serious changes to our team now. Someone said it earlier but Cook Bopara Bell Collingwood in a batting line up wouldn't scare the daylights out of a Saturday 3rd XI. That just screams fragility!

This is what happens when we select Harmison.

This is clearly all Harmy's fault. ;)

Seriously though, I expected us to lose this match because of the ridiculous selectorial policy in picking Harmy over Sidey but even I'm impressed at just how spectacularly we are going about it. :D

"WE ALL LIVE IN A SUNNY PARADISE, A SUNNY PARADISE, A SUNNY PARADISE. YOU ALL LIVE IN CRAPHOLE FULL OF MICE, YOU WANNA TAKE A FLIGHT, TO OUR SUNNY PARADISE"

This is beautiful to watch

You genius. Even better cos they're Poms.

They all said how great a series he was going to have, he didn't. Also we were told how Siddle was going to be the next McGrath and rip through England, that's not happened either. The majority of young guys haven't stepped up to the plate. We thought they would, but they haven't. I'm sure Bopara, Hughes, Broad and Siddle are all good enough to have long Test careers though.

Broad's looking very doubtful at the moment. There's nothing to suggest he's going to become a world-class player. Toatally agree with Bopara though, but like I've been saying since the first test, he needs to be at five.

@KP. What do you mean the Australian's were wrong about Hughes. You go on about him more then anyone here?

Playing Broad at seven was never going to work. Clark has bowled very well this morning.

Playing Broad at 7 was the reason for our problems this morning?

Well done Australia. Brilliantly bowled. I think we had a couple of loose shots, but the bowling was excellent. We'll have to hope Prior and Swann and the others can get us to something like 200.

Yeah because thats what I said :sarcasm

The problem with Bopara playing 3 is that in a well balanced side your best batsman plays first drop. At this stage he isn't your best or if he is then you really do have problems.

If only the crappy group of fanatics actually sung some freaking songs. You can't even hear them.

"STUART BROAD, LOOKS LIKE BROOOOAD, STUART BROAD, COULD BE A FILTHY WHOOOOORE. STUART BROOOOOOAD, BOWLS LIKE A BROOOOOAD, SO WATCH HIM BOWL, AND SEE THEM SOOOORE"

Didn't do any worse than the top order.

And your point is?

Playing Broad at seven was just never going to work, he isn't good enough. You can't tell me that you honestly thought it was a good idea.

England just have left Flintoff out of last game. Even if he was in top order was going to fail.

The problem with Prior is that they keep shaping away from him. That's not to say that he hasn't created chances, but why not bring the ball in?

It's got nothing to do with the top order. If England were smart they would of picked the extra batsmen (Trott) and batted Prior at seven. This line-up just looks so weak. No one except for the selectors can defend batting Broad at seven.
