4th Test: England v Australia at Leeds

Prior's fairly raced to 34, didn't think he was near that many yet. He seems to get his runs seriously quickly.

Mainly through the third man region. Always baffled me that there is no third man to Prior, he does like to exploit the backward point region and the gap between third slip and gully.

May as well turn thoughts to the bowling then, who should open you reckon? Broad and Bopara? :p

I believe that Anderson and Onions would be the best move. Watson is more of an immediate danger than Katich and Watson seems to struggle when the bowling is on the stumps.

Sid's right. This batting lineup is the same England normally field apart from Freddie. The top order hasn't changed or been weaken. A collapse like this was just bound to happen eventually considering it's been so weak.

How many runs has he scored during this innings down to third man?

Fair point. He has played better than this. Still got his runs though, done better than everyone else (bar Cook).

Harmison's gone. Time for Jimmy to get off the mark again :D

In agreement Manee. Should definitely be Anderson and Onions. Just gotta hope they bowl well.

Siddle doing some tail cleaning, just what we needed seeing how much problems the tail has caused us this series.

Poor Prior, he was out there breaking his back an hour before the game and look at how the rest of them are playing!

Get Johnson and Hilfenhaus back on, I need some more points.

Opening bowlers for England would have to be Onions and Anderson. But I'd tell Harmy to keep warm.

I'm fairly sure Atherton's won't be changing any time soon!

Very surprised Sidebottom was left out. I thought an inswinging left handed bowler would've run riot on this pitch. What did Strauss say at the toss?

I wonder how much the Flintoff saga and the random Prior injury would've effected the team mindset. Yes well this was bound to happen as once Strauss got out early as they didn't have anyone else to stand up.

Watson's wicket will be key. He scores quickly and a quick 30 from him could practically guarantee and Australian first innings lead.

Woah, has Jimmy Anderson never been dismissed for a duck in test cricket? That's a brilliant effort!

Well in fairness a Jimmy Hat-trick of Watson, Ponting and Clarke would knock the sails out of us.
