Just watching him come forward to defend makes me cringe, if the ball does anything off the seam, inwards, he's out every time.

England 108/1. I may be jinxing Australia here, but these two don't look comfortable at all. Bell's just a walking wicket and there is nothing after that. One breakthrough and Aus have it in the bag.

Andrew Strauss looks good expecting another fine innings from him, Ian Bell on 41 from 55 balls 7 fours, good partnership between this two of 96 runs.

No. My Bell love has very much worn off, but I have to contest someone saying he's got a horrid technique when I believe it simply isn't true. Bell's not looked like an lbw candidate anywhere near as much today. He's not walking across himself, but in not doing that and standing taller, he's stopping himself from playing the short ball properly, but he's survived, and he needs to be given credit for that. This is the first time I've seen Ian Bell making ugly runs for England, normally he'd have just thrown his wicket away when under this sort of pressure, but he's dug in, and deserves some praise for doing so.

1. How the hell are we going to take 20 wickets?
2. "Highest second wicket partnership of the series" really doesn't mean much.

Interesting analysis of that wicket. Looked like the one that got Strauss was slanted a bit more than that replay they showed.
