7th ODI: Australia v England at Perth

I want Australia to win this, 6-1 sounds better than 5-2.
Watto to hit a century a century yet again.
and I'll be keeping a close eye on Bell.

It's a day match this one. Strange that this one is a day match yet the other 6 games have all been day/night matches. Wouldn't wanna be playing in that heat

It is a day nighter for the easter coast...

I'll have a bet with somebody. $5000 that Tim Paine will make over 75 runs and Krejza will get 4 or more wickets.

I'll take you up on 5000 vCash for this.

Team news

Australia have taken the opportunity of another dead rubber to rest a couple of key players ahead of the World Cup, with Watson and Clarke not making the trip to Perth. That means Cameron White will captain Australia in an ODI for the first time and Tim Paine will play as a specialist batsman, joining his wicketkeeping colleague Brad Haddin at the top of the order. Adam Voges will play his first one-day international since last March, and the offspinner Krejza is set to debut due to a hip muscle injury to Smith. It means a long tail for Australia, with Mitchell Johnson at No. 7.

Australia (possible) 1 Brad Haddin (wk), 2 Tim Paine, 3 Callum Ferguson, 4 Cameron White (capt), 5 David Hussey, 6 Adam Voges, 7 Mitchell Johnson, 8 John Hastings, 9 Jason Krejza, 10 Brett Lee, 11 Shaun Tait.

Another injury for England, this time Paul Collingwood's back problem, means the side will change yet again, with Liam Plunkett likely to come in after a whistle-stop trip from St Kitts to Miami to London to Singapore and finally to Perth. The other option is for Luke Wright to rejoin the starting XI, which would make some sense given he is in the World Cup squad, unlike Plunkett.

England (possible) 1 Andrew Strauss (capt), 2 Matt Prior (wk), 3 Jonathan Trott, 4 Kevin Pietersen, 5 Ian Bell, 6 Eoin Morgan, 7 Michael Yardy, 8 Chris Woakes, 9 Liam Plunkett, 10 James Anderson, 11 Steven Finn.

Jonathan Trott needs 108 runs in this match to break the world record for the most runs in a bilateral ODI series

Trott is

Morgan is now out of this with a fractured finger and his world cup future is in doubt too.

So, Plunkett and Wright to play or Davies play as a batsman?
