A Heart of Gold: A Pok?mon Story (Chewie v Iridium v Hedger)

Well there's a few things you can do after Goldenrod. Visit Pokethlon Dome, Sudowoodo and quite a few trainers along the way. So maybe just up to Ecruteak City and then the part after that can be exploring the city and the Gym, just like we did with Goldenrod.

Ok, good. Yeah, I was wondering since there was a fair few things to do and I didn't know whether we wanted to do it in two parts but I'm fine with that.

Oh, and you forgot the bug catching contest :p

I need to win the bug catching contest to get a sun stone...

I'm nearly up to Goldenrod :)

Oh yea, but only if you get there on a Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday. I'll play through tomorrow to make sure I get to compete.

I remember once catching a Kakuna that beat a Pinsir that one of the other players caught.

Yeah, I bloody came second yesterday as I caught a Pinsir but someone else caught a Pinsir and got 3 more points than me and I won another everstone instead. Also managed to win a couple of ultra balls in the lottery :p

Trading pokemon with other people in the game does help as it gives you more numbers to get.

I'm up to Goldenrod now but I'm still looking for an Abra and an Exeggcute

I got an Abra. A pain to catch normally but I got it first go. Lobbed a ball and it caught it. Training it now so it'll evolve and then I have to borrow someone's DS and game so I can trade it.

I wanted an Exeggcute but I think I gave up looking after a while.

btw, you haven't updated the index :p

lol I'll update it when I post an update maybe.

They're both fairly similar stats wise with Espeon having slightly higher special attack. Depends on what your team needs really.

Get an Umbreon. High defenses, and a well good attack.

Nah, I don't like Umbreon much.

I suppose I could get both, by breeding but it means I need more room in my party :p

Hmm, it's tough trying to decide on a team. I think I'll take Pidgeotto out as soon as I get an Espeon, and then breed it so I can get a Jolteon and I think my team will end up something like this:

Typhlosion - Fire
Dragonite - Dragon/Flying
Togekiss - Flying/Normal
Espeon - Pyschic
Jolteon - Electric
Gyrados - Water/Flying

Seems a fairly good team, even if I have 3 part flying pokemon :p

The only problem is that my Espeon and Togekiss will clash since both are very effective against fighting pokemon. Oh well, I'll live with it.
