A Heart of Gold: A Pok?mon Story (Chewie v Iridium v Hedger)

Thinking about it... I want some too :D

We have some special green tea that has roasted rice in it. Tastes really good :D Gonna go make some :)

haha, I either have normal tea or some sort of coffee. I prefer coffee but I can never be bothered making the actual coffee and my mum and dad don't really like coffee so I just have tea most of the time.

I never drink coffee. Don't like the taste. Lots of my friends drink it though, because they find otherwise they can't stay awake or concentrate in their 8am lectures

Where did you do your writeup to? Was it the red-head battle or did you go to the lab?

----------

Nevermind I saw your writeup.

Ok, well once you's do your writeups, I'll see how you's have both done it and then I'll start playing my game again.

I'm cooking atm too :D My whole family have gone to Hong Kong and left me home alone...

Kind of the same here, except my parents and little sister went to Taupo, so it's just me and my older brother for the week.

He's had mates here all weekend, which has been kind of annoying really, as I've been wanting to study which has been pretty hard.

Anyway, back on topic, I'll be following this.

A Heart of Gold: A Pok?mon Story
Iridium - Part 1

Well seems the Professor has an errand for me. So over I went and to my surprise, he said I could choose a Pokemon to take with me over to Mr. Pokemon's house to pick something up. I got the feeling this wasn't just going to be any ordinary day....

Professor Elm's lab
Three Pokeballs, each with a Pokemon inside, sat before me. Inside was a fire, water and grass Pokemon. I suffered from bad hayfever so I decided against taking Chikorita. Now usually I would go for the fire type, Cyndaquil, but something drew me towards the water Pokemon, Totodile. So that's what I went for.

Elm's assistant gave me 5 Potions for journey and I was on my way. Elm, being the forgetful type, rushed out after me to give me his Pokegear number.

Route 29
Totodile followed closely behind while we headed out of town. We headed into the grass and right into a wild Sentret. Being a amateur at battling, I struggled at first but soon got the hang of calling out attacks. In the end, Totodile easily defeated the Sentret. A few more Pokemon came against us, but were dispatched with the same ease. At this stage, Totodile learned Water Gun.

Cherrygrove City
Upon entering the city, a nice old man showed me around and gave me a pair of running shoes. They were certainly much more comfortable than the sandals I was wearing before. As I was leaving town, the old rushed up and gave me a Map Card for my Pokegear. Guess he was the forgetful type as well.

Route 30
A man in a house was handing out free Apricorn Boxes. I'm not one to turn away free stuff so I happily took his gift. A battle was going on out towards Route 31 but I didn't have time to stop and watch.

Mr. Pokemon's house
Mr. Pokemon was delighted I had arrived and quickly went about getting the item for Professor Elm. There was another man in there but I couldn't quite put my finger on who he was. Mr. Pokemon returned with a Mystery Egg and other man, who turned out to be the famed Professor Oak, very kindly gave me a Pokedex.

As I left Mr. Pokemon's house, Professor Elm rang. He sounded very flustered and distressed and asked that I quickly return to New Bark Town.

-The Passerby Boy-
I ran back towards Cherrygrove, quickly stopping into the Pokemon Centre to rest my Totodile after a few encounters with wild Pokemon. As I left the city, a red-headed boy stood in my way. He didn't happy with the fact that I had a Pokemon, and challenged me to a battle. I gladly obliged.

The boy sent out a Chikorita. I was immediately suspicious about where he got that Pokemon. Totodile went forward and attacked with Scratch. Chikorita used Growl which seemed to intimidate my Pokemon. I told Totodile to keep at it with Scratch and by the time Chikorita was told to fight back, it was over.

The boy ranted on a bit before walking off. He dropped his trainer card and before I could look further at his details, he snatched it off me and took off. Too bad I got his name.

Professor Elm's lab
A police officer was in the lab and I figured out where that boy had obtained his Pokemon. The police, who must have just graduated from Police Academy, accused me of being the culprit. Lyra, my best friend, told him that I was innocent.

I gave Professor Elm the Egg and caught sight of the Pokedex Professor Oak had given me. He suggested that I take the Pokemon Gym challenge and directed me to head to Violet City for my first gym. I spoke to my mum and she said she would save some of my prize money for me. I knew I could trust her and that she wouldn't spend my money on stuff I didn't need.

My journey to be the Champion could now begin in earnest.

Hope it isn't too long. It's my first attempt at writing a story so if it's rubbish, that's why

Na, that's a good size (imo). :thumbs

I normally limit myself to the first generation, so it'll be interesting for me following the second one which I don't know too much about.

Lyra, some girl who lives in town, told him that I was innocent.

lol, she's your best friend :spy

Well that is perfect for when you're posting progress, but what were you going to do when you were actually going to write your storyline part?

And haha, my Cyndaquil is already lvl 10 :p
