Sunday's Youth​

This was the week I get the 'great' 20 YO. Atleast I hope so. After this, no more investing ITS in youths and more or less collecting them up for next season.
Anyways, told the coach to give this guy 12 ITS in Batting, Stamina and Concentration and 6 ITS in Fielding and Consistency, for a total of 48 ITS. And here is what I get...

The Coach's thoughts on Leroy here:

'ees been here for a long time, and is a good batsman. Has a rather unrthodox techneek, but can whack the ball 'ard and can bat for very long periods o'time. 'ee does have the occasional lapse in concentration, and is a shaddoy fielder, but 'ees still a good player.

My thoughts:

Not bad. Wold make the first XI, but his poor fielding means I have to retain Finlayson in his place. However, he is a good backup and will come in handy in FC games, with his high stamina and all.

TT Lions to Promote!
The TT Lions have been promoted to Division 1 in the Planetcricket Battrick Championship after a slip up by the Old Wulfs as they lost today's must win match against Jeanz. Chasing a mammoth 290, the Wulfs fell short by 28 runs, their experiments coming into this game not coming off. Prior to this match, the Wulfs were 1 point behind the Lions, with 1 game in hand, while the Lions had no more games left. Had they won this, they would have won the second automatic promotion spot alongside Birggs Bullets. But, having failed to do so, the Lions manage to sneak through to Division 1 without needing a playoff!
This means the Lions have a lot more interesting matches in store for them this season, with a lot of teams of equal or better skill. This should make for a great season ahead!​

Yup great work Zorax after starting so badly when u fortfieted ur first two matches becuase of not knowing that league has started. Great work.
And this also means that i wouln't need to play u in play-offs.
Hoping to meet u and Briggs in div I as third team to promote throught play off.
