some answers according to my guess!! great work Zorax.. cheers

yay:happy I have got only the toss wrong :) Btw great experimentations there in batting line up :clap & a good win in the end.

This remind me the exhibition match between India & SL where Tendulkar was no XI and he didn't come to bat itself. Sidhu was at no 10 and Ganguly at no 9 something like that.... i.e bowlers first and batsmen last like u did this match ;)

Yup. Although they aren't likely to bowl again this season :)
I couldn't post this last night cause it was late, so here it is:

Mondays trip to the Nets.

Monday is the day on which the Training Updates occur on BT. It's when you get the see the fruit of all the net sessions you have invested in your players along with their hard work. If you are lucky, they may improve -or as it is know in Battrick jargon, 'pop'- in a skill.

Here are this week's trainees:
Mohaideen Abdeen (1 wicketkeeping net, 1 fitness net, 2 batting net): Consistency pop, (BTR) increase.
Xavier Eli (2 bowling nets, 1 fitness net): No pops, BTR increase.
Wavell Folkes (2 bowling nets, 1 fitness net): No pops, BTR increase

Abdeen is coming on well as a keeper, but still no batting pop. Even changed around his nets, hope he pops next week...

Just a doubt.... After how many nets u got a bowling pop for Folkes?

I have been trying the same nets for one of my players but so far, 2-3 weeks gone and no pop except the BTR for me :(

Tuesday's Top Player Interview
With Chris Gamble

CG: Hey everyone, and welcome to another edition of Tuesday's Top Player Interview! Today, we talk to the TT Lions skipper Bill Tuckett, Who has been ripping through batting lineups with his legspin like it is going out of style! So, Billy, wazza???
BT:Nothin much really :) We've got a big game this Friday, and possibly this Sunday, so working towards those.
CG: Nice to see you hard at work with the team :) But tell us, what is your life like outside cricket?
BT: Well, before cricket, I was in school. As I got selected, I was just about to head for college. I am still in college, studying to become a Chartered Accountant, but with the amount I earn from playing with the Lions, I doubt I'll need a job anytime soon :p
CG: That's great. You any good at school?
BT: Beh, I manage :)
CG: Haha. So, how did you get into cricket, and who was your biggest influence?
BT: I used to play cricket as a hobby, and got addicted. As a kid in the Academy, I used to bowl a mix of offspin and legspin, but the coach suggested I work on my legbreak more, if not to just have it as a suprise delivery. But I got better, got a googly and a flipper, got selected, and the rest is history :)
CG: That's great, I guess we all have to thank that coach :) Ever thought that you would be skipper one day?
BT: Well, in a way, yea. I've always wanted to captain a team, used to do it in school, and have actually studied tactics and such. Playing under Arthur was a terrific experience, I learnt a lot from him, and I am just honoured now to be captain of such a fantastic group of cricketers :)
CG:Thanks Billy :) Now, one from the fans, have you ever scored a fifty in anyform of cricket, and who was it against?
BT: Yes, infact, I scored 83 against the boys here in a street cricket match the day before our fiftieth match against Aura. :) Dennis, Cox and Rheams bowled, along with a few Aura players -Pat Cash bowled righty! Ryan Crouch bowled one over, and I hit him for sx :D.
CG: Haha :) Thanl you Tuckett, may your success continue :)
Well, there you have it folks, Bill Tuckett, the hard working skipper of the TT Lions, and he is our this week's
Tuesday's Top Player! :)

Yeah, Tuckett is a great player.. I expected Crouch this week but still he is running away :p Nice work as always Zorax and Thanks for the info about 7 weeks :)

Wednesday's Words of Wisdom
From Shaka Nelson

Hello, welcome to Wednesday's Words of Wisdom, where we give you, the readers, a piece of advice on Battrick every week, delivered by the TT Lion's experienced groudsman, Shaka Nelson. Today's piece of Advice is:

"Cricket is a team sport. That means, ideally, atleast 6 out of your 11 players should contribute well if you want to win. Relying on a few star players to carry the team isn't wise, especially if they end up having a bad day. This may become increasingly common when FC games arrive, so strive to have a well-balanced side."

Thank you and join us next week for another Wednesday's Words of Wisdom!

Yes, when there is FC game, its going to be tough selection to maintain the stamina level to keep the side in balance :)

nice work zorax with the interview and the always useful words of wisdom
