Academy Version 0.0.71 Discussion

It's about 2 metres outside the crease.

So if we can go 2m from the crease, does that reduce the amount of time we get to play a shot? Also does it mean we can go deeper in our crease then the last game? If the answer to this is yes, then would it mean the reaction tines would look something like this; 2m from crease 0.30 sec reaction time, 1m from crease 0.45 sec, 0m from crease 0.60 sec, and if your back as far as possible 0.75 sec reaction time??? For fast bowlers of course, or am I barking up the wrong tree?

Also did one for pace which will be available at this link once it has finished uploading.

Amazing stuff! Is it me, or when you chose an uneven pitch, one ball went well over the stumps while the other hit the stumps....both pitching almost on the same spot? BARS would be amazing this year! Hope the umpires get some decisions wrong this time ;).

It would be amazing if the Big Eye was added to the beta to showoff how the ball behaves differently on different pitch types!!!

It would be nice if could come a couple of ateps outside the crease. Try considering this. Thanks

Thats what he said 2 meters in total forward or towards the bowler.. We can try moving forward with the bowling machine itself but since its ready to bowl the time for getting forward is little but when a bowler is bowling more time to move around..

Well the ball isn't going to move slower because you stepped forward.

Yeah, but will there be less reaction time from 2m out then the deepest you can go back in the crease? Or is it the same reaction time no matter where you stand?

Im picturing it as a visual slider of sorts...

The answer is yes.

in ea cricket 2007 they even had actual videos of that scenario in which commentator explained what that batsman or bowler did in that scenario
this was the main reason why we liked it so much
just telling the facts that in this test match this batsman scored a 50 and you have to do it too won't make it fun

Well... we agreed for a brief second anyway. :-)

Go play trivial pursuit somewhere else please. If you read exactly what was wrote... matt didnt actually answer whether you get the same time or less time... only that you 'wouldnt get more time'... more or less

you get less time as in the ball is going to hit you earlier than normal if u go 2-3 step forward before the ball gets delivered !
