Aussie Batting needs to improve

Australia have lost wicket after wicket after wicket and are on 9-123 after 10 overs. THey have a lot of runs but are just getting two many runouts and caught and bowls. They play the right shot for the ground (even press right button ) and its getting caught and bowled. Mcgrath and Lee are putting on a fine batting performance Lee might save his team with a century.​

Not an impressive scorecard

Australia are starting to go down in the ICC Elite 8. They are winning all their matches but are collapsing to much. They have to defend a total of 145 against india. 20 Overs India have to get 146 and that equates to around 7.3 an over. It does seem like a high runrate but in 20/20 crikcet that isnt much​

Bichel Takes off

Andy Bichel has taken off to another great bowling spell. He is into his 3rd Over and taken 1/7. They say that The batting for australia has been down lately but when you put the bowling into contention it is excellent. 1 Over ago It was the 9 Over mark and Australia were 1-26. Hogg was expensive last over then made it 1-40 then Bichel came in with a wicket first ball in that over.​

Australia are lucky to have this victory. They only took 2 wickets in the 20 overs of bowling they did. One to lee one to bichel. It was a very close match and once agian Australia have continued their winning streak.​

PONTING REACHES ANOTHER MILESTONE

Ricky Ponting has taken a brillian century. He has done it in 38 Balls. Australia have lost the wickets of lee and Martyn (just recently) Simon Katich is out there with Ponting and there is still plenty of batting to come with Clarke and Symonds and they can really hit well. Then hogg Bichel and McGrath.

AUSTRALIA DEFENDING A TOTAL OF 297

Australia are defending 297 against sri lanka at the SCG. The Homeside batted the whole innings and finished up with 6-297. They only lost a few wickets at the end. After being 3/140 after 10 Overs after the wicket of Lee they did more then doubled their score at the half way mark of the innings. Australia are goign to open the bowling with Brett Lee. Dont expect the tightest of bowling caus SRI Lanka are going to Really attack​
