AMD and ATI have launched a site where you can check your computer's Vista readiness. This is quite important as you will need a DX9 graphics card to run Vista properly.

TAKE THE TEST HERE

Here's a sample of what the basic result looks like:

Aparently I am ready.....Just ;)

Dammit, it was high allround except the hard disk. I seem to have 10 GB left (which I could easily increase to 20 GB if I cba to get rid of the other blank partition for Linux),but everything else was pretty high, mostly over 75%. And just because of the hard disk, my comp didn't meet the minumum requirements :(

I'm not ready for it :(.. but anyways im not going to use it suddenly when it releases.. i'll use XP till i buy a new computer..

Mine didn't meat because of the hard disk aswell.. i have 2 gb left :D.

nah... I am happy with windows Xp :D ..... anyways ill have to improve my video card to meet the minimum requierements .. :(

Hehe, I'm not ready. Got about only 70% the way to good.
?I don't mind, gonna keep using XP for a while anyways.

I'm ready:

For the next stage up I need 256mb more ram. I pass all the graphics tests for it but it complains about the nvidia-ness of my card:

It's nothing to do with you having a specifically NVidia card but rather that you only have 32Mb of onboard RAM and it's recommending you get a card with at least 128Mb of RAM. ;)

I'm not ready for Windows Vista. It doesn't matter, I'm very happy with Windows XP for now.

Well I'm glad I ran this as it told me I only had 256MB of RAM when actually I have 512. Seems like there was a loose connection or something but now with a bit of case-opening and dust-blowing I have 512 again. Wonder how long that's been going on for!

Not Ready and dont want windows Vista, i m happy with Win XP cuz i dont do lot of stuff these days on my comp
