England improved on their first session by taking two key wickets. Langer, who had amassed fifty plus alreayd looked in good form but smart captiancy by Flintoff got him undone. England positoned a fine third man and then bowled a series of shorter, tight balls, then Anderson through one a bit wider and Langer couldnt resist and ended up cutting it down to hoggard at the fien third man postion. England however could do litle to stop ponting and martyn as they both began to dimantle the English attack. Ponting led the way with a huge six of a top edge and martyn simply crashed the ball through all areas of the field. Ponting was the nmext wicket to fall despite replays showing he was wrongly given out. Despite the intial sound and deflection when snicko and the relay was shown, it was evident that there was gap between bat and ball and that the ball had clipped Pontings shirt. Regardless ponting was sent trudging to the pavillion leaving England in a better positon.

D.Gower- England need the wicket of Martyn sooner rather than later. He has already scored a hundred in this series and hes thretaenign to do the same now.

Australia lead by 226 runs

Nice aggresive knock by Martyn. Geez Hussey is batting slow 1 off 24 - Katich bats faster than that :D

Martyn n Ponting seems to be unseparable everywhere :D :p

Aussies are looking good.. Nice knock by Marto! Also great and nice presentation mate :clap

Monty's taken a bit of a smashing in his 2 overs. Martyn's batting quite aggressively right now. Bit disappointing that Langer and Ponting didn't convert their starts into 100s.

Australia have put themselves in a strong positon after scoring plenty of runs in the final session of the day. Martyn reached 132 by the close and was extremely dangerous crashing the ball to all parts. Meanwhile Hussey has been exteremly subdued though it has to be said that England have worked him over very much. He as had littled to play at though when he as it has gone for four. England have a had few chances with Matryn edging one past his off stump and also top edging just short of Anderson on the boundary, apart from that it has been a bad session of England.

D.Gower- Australia are in a strong position now and theres little that can go wrong. England really need to get there act together.

Australia lead by 322runs

Thanks, i think its Tutsi V4.0, i find its a good patch because the computer bats well and puts the bad balls away and its also hard for me to bat because boundaries are hard to come by

Oh ok thanks :)
I am using tutsi's v6 patch but I might give V4 a try :)

Keep up the hard work :cheers

Good knock by Martyn. Hussey supporting him well. Hopefully Australia can keep pilling on the pain.

Mike hussey is goingt a bit slow for him even though he might be giving good support but lets hope he does get to increse his run rate because it is so slow compared to Mrtyn. Nice presentation tjh1989 keep this up:)

Engalnd had there best session so far by taking 3 wickets for 100 runs. Harmison got the big breakthrough after getting Martyn caugh on the hook by Anderson. The Hussey followed imediately after him when he missed a straight one of Panesar which clipped his off stumped. Meanwhile Clarke batted well reaching his fifty but he too departed after a maginifcant catch by cook at Mid wicket after Clark clubbed a pull shot straight to him. England now need one more good session and they are defiently still in this game.

D.Gower- England are still in this game but it still looks like Australia good easily amass another 100 runs. England must ensure this does not happen.

Australia lead by 422runs
