Engaldn have batted themselves into a commanding postion after scoring 460 for the loss of just 5 wickets. Pietersen, 168 notout as batted extremely well and as put England in this position. However an equally great innings of 111 from Flintoff and there huge partnership definetly saved Engladn after falling to 99 for 3. For Australia it as been a day to try and forget. Very few bowlers have looked threatening and there has been question over some of the fitnesses of the bowlers such as Clark.

D.Gower- England have to decied whetehr they want to bat again. If they dont they need soem runs from Read and the tail. Australia have to bowl well or else they are in real big trouble/

England are 16 runs behind

Not looking good for the Aussies, Lee looks like hes going the tonk. England should have a decent lead.

how do you get the Australian look for the scorecard and when the partnership comes up its got the ACB thing, are you playing on PC and did you just make the overlay?

I play on ps2 and i thought it was better cuz it wont freeze because my cricket 2004 on PS2 doesn't work but its annoying that i cant use patches.

This has been a bloody high scoring series. Can't see a result happening in this match unless there is a massive collapse.

I am playing on PC so i downloaded the Nine graphics pack.

ah, yea as i said my computer didn't take cricket 2004 so it was unlikely it would take 2005 cricket either, i wish you could get patches on the PS2

Pietersen scored the first double hundred of the series as England take a good lead into lunch on day four. Chris Read batted well making 52 only his third test half century. However, he was undone eventually by a good delivery from Lee who has struggled through out this game thus far. The ball climbed on Read who was cuaght on the hook late picking out Clark at a Leg gully position. Pietersen is now left with the tail and he is sure to have a slog after tea.

D.Gower- England are definetly looking to bat just once and therefore they need a few more runs yet. Pietersen has batted tremendously and has put England in a strong position. Australia need to end this innings quickly before they are in real big trouble.

England lead by 76 runs

You should have declared one run ago, it would have made it exactly the same as todays England's first innings at Adelaide ;)

Australia took the remaning four wickets to bowl England out for 623. Pietersen added just 6 runs before he was caught behind after at a good ball which moved away from Clark. Hoggard and Harmison both contributed with the bat adding 40 and 26 respectively. Australia have had a long time in the field so this last session and a bit is paramount to their success. Clark was the pick of the bowlers taking 3 for 77 and Mcgrath followed with his 3 for 88.

D.Gower- Pietersen batted very very well and now England are in a controlling position. Australia need a good innings to get them out of trouble.

K.Pietersen- Was definetly my best innings ever and i felt in great control. Clark bowled well and he deserved those wickets. The picth is just breaking up so hopefully monty will get us a few.

Australia are 147 runs behind
