No gameplay footage or screenshot? The company simply don't know how to market the product yet they say that there's no market for cricket game. I am sure we'll be seeing modified version of Ashes 2009.

I am not talking about the people here. EA sports clearly said that. And what's the reason of releasing Ashes 2013 after 2009? Other sport games are released annually. Accept it that the marketing is too weak. I follow the facebook page which is too dull to be very honest. Two screenshot with new features in a month would be enough to attract the audience in my opinion.
EA Sports said that 4 years ago and that doesn't mean it was true then either.
Seeing as your location is Karachi how would you know what the UK and Australian marketing campaigns are like?
We'll get screens eventually but because there are two games releasing (and for licensing reasons) both producers are keeping their cards close to their chests.

I wonder what people who don't know much about cricket get out of this trailer? At best it seems to me like it could have ended with ticket sales info and not been that different - or perhaps been a promo to get Sky Sports.

Mark Nicholas works with Channel 5, so this is unlikely to happen. But then, who knows.

Mm I dont think you quite get the point being made. Matt was trying to say that the trailer could be for any number of things, such as a promo for Sky Sports coverage of the Ashes.....

This is getting a bit silly, ashes 2013 two months until release and bigant hopefully sooner and still no ingame screenshots or video. I know they are both keeping it under wraps because of the competition, but surely it wouldn't matter now so late in the day. Trailers like that are next to useless for me.
It's been one hell of a wait, september 25 i saw somewhere and now 18th of april so let's hope the wait has been worth it and we get a good trailer not just 10 seconds of gameplay then saying 21st of june.
p.s when we teased chief earlier in this thread he did say a couple of weeks and he can get something for us, still he said it in a spy like chief mode so who knows. Also i bet bigant hit back with a trailer shortly after, Ross is waiting i bet, well i hope so.

Well I'm glad someone said it. Did I miss something as to the reason a screenshot of a stadium isn't possible? The pitch? A picture of a match featuring two NON licensed teams? There's a reason company's like rockstar are loved and respected. Not only are their games fantastic, but when they release a teaser trailer, it actually shows something!
I'm losing more interest in this game with every passing day.

I dont think the trailer even deserves a rating....4/10 for their creative team to come up with something like this for a teaser.Like someone pointed out,would have worked a couple of years ago. The guy in the photo is Bret Hart(Pro-wrestler) he has cracked me up with a lot of things he has said recently.
