Don't completely agree. Yes online was plainly broken but batting and bowling wise I had some good games and tournaments. If they can somehow have boosted AI, made the fielders stop the ball more effectively and got rid of a few of the worse bugs then I think AC13 will give a good game of cricket.

I still play this game and it does have it merits although I agree much needs to be improved.

Yep using my own fab patches () IC10 is the best game of cricket I have ever played. Just no depth and usual annoying bugs a lot of games have

The longevity of the game lies in how good multiplayer works. There had not been a decent multiplayer game since 2005 where we could play test matches for hours on end.

The biggest turn off for me the past tranmission/trickster games was there was no sense of actual batting or bowling , to me it felt like selecting the pre determined animation sequence by button pressing ,(note that the bowl trajectory suddenly changes in the air/off the pitch so that a predetermined animation can trigger resulting in infamous hookshot to yorkers)

The longevity of the game lies in how good multiplayer works. There had not been a decent multiplayer game since 2005 where we could play test matches for hours on end.

The longevity lies in the amount of content; if it focuses too much on the Ashes, like the last one, then it'll have similar longevity. In other words, once the Ashes is over, we'll lose all interest. Hopefully this one will still be worth playing once the Ashes have been decided.

Good point, I think we all forget the fantastic work the team did with that magnificent trailer that really showed us the quality of the game that was literally just stumps on fire.

At the time, that was a perfectly reasonably teaser trailer. There must have been a plan after that to release a steady stream of screenshots and in-game videos. Something, somewhere has gone wrong and this game has turned into a farce.

My brother ordered Xbox version from amazon and have been advised that game will be shipped on Wednesday! Don't understand what is going on here?
