Ashes Cricket General Discussion

PC version on DBC17 had super-fast load times on my PC.

I have buckled and ordered the PS4 version from a local store this morning. I'll be picking it up on the way home from work :)

Couldn't abide reading all the positive comments about the game - felt I was missing out!
 
Game is sooo good , out of interest anyone having trouble with academy downloading teams , It’s just hanging ?
 
Have I missed something with the controls. It seems that a lot of the leave options just aren't available in Ashes Cricket. I can't find a way to pad up, and leaves in general seem a bit troublesome. Ducking is inconsistent, and leaving to spinners basically means that players trot out of their crease.

Very true on the first two. Just go back into your crease and no more stumpings.

Which is what I've been doing, but to be honest it's something that really needs a bit of tuning. Sure, it only takes it happening once or twice to figure out how to deal with it long term, but boy is that a nasty way to need to find out.

Yeah only happened once as I read a lot on here and tried to remember to move back in your crease. PS To be honest I like it at the moment.
 
Does anyone know if there is an option to delete all the players earned stats? I know we can do it one player at a time, at least one team at a time would help.
 
Is Paine, Bancroft and S Marsh in the game squad already ?
 
Can anyone try the Close cam for running? I saw on @mazd stream that it was still stuck with the batsman while running..The camera should actually work like how it is in DBC 14 career.. It should be fixed with the batsman and camera runs along with the player giving the angle where it has gone..So it actually makes running more realistic experience..

I raised the same issue about leaves. I get hit a lot when trying to leave short balls as the batsmen plays a forward leave. in DBC17 you could play backfoot leaves by with backwards on LS and the leave button but it Seems backfoot leaves have been removed from Ashes or they just aren't working.

Is it wow!! But this was not mentioned in the patch info.
