Ashes Cricket General Discussion

Ashes cricket not even that bad dean
See vedio then u comment we paying 60 dollars for a game and what we get as console version.
A mobile game looking lot more polished.
2018 we are in and we buy a inferior game compared to a mobile game what a joke.
Hope big ant view this vedio and should put there heads down.[DOUBLEPOST=1518561623][/DOUBLEPOST]

The mobile game doesn't interest me at all. I'm much more interested in how AO Tennis gets what seems like 10 patches (lets face it, it was in a disgraceful state at release) with no known community beta team, inside of a month from release.

Meanwhile, here the consumer gets to enjoy everything being kept secret, the beta team and Big Ant sharing zero, being kept in the dark as months go by.

Surely the message Big Ant is sharing to all cricket fans is: "Please, please have the sense to NOT buy our game until 6 months after release. If you do you're a fool".

What else is there to take from this unapologetic, take-it-or-leave-it kind of prospect? Perhaps there's a feeling that once this next patch drops that if it's half decent we'll forget everything and shell out again for the next one, no matter what, after all we did this time and the time before that for DBC'17.

Well, unfortunately there is just one answer, it's the monopoly. Had there been more competitors they would have probably priced the game a little less and/or put in more effort. Or maybe totally pulled out of this segment.

At the end of the day you gotta make profits. But it's sad how poorly the audience is being treated.

I was really backing them this time round. I still really hope they somehow come up with something miraculous.

That. Looks. Terrible.

Ok, for a mobile game, but I guarantee it will not play like a proper cricket game. It looks like a swipe for 6 kind of game. Stick cricket looks like it has better physics.

I mean... No that will definitely be king of cricket games for years to come. You best go and troll there forums from now on because that game will be the death of AC!
