Ashes Cricket General Discussion

My main point was that some with information on the future the game enjoy being extremely coy. If you don't want to/can't reveal any info then don't tease info. But I do get there are some insufferable characters on here. No need to be so defensive.
What? Where? Who? You keep going around in circles. I was not being coy, I was not misunderstanding anything, I was not hiding info...

No circles, this was my first point.
Everyone here wants the same goal - a good cricket game. My issue is that there a clique with knowledge on the future of the game being incredibly coy with what they know. Either you can't elaborate or don't want to, but stop teasing people with ambiguity. Some lash out and you give as good back.

edit: it is clear that you enjoy the importance of your position, but if you don't want to be pestered stop teasing.
and my second
I honestly don't care who is in the beta and who isn't. I'm sure that those that test the game have devoted hours into making it the best game they can. I just don't like the teasing that exists on this forum. Especially towards those speaking in second languages that are trying to find out information on future of the game. Yes, some are crazy!

I miss Dean Johnes too. I loved how he said he contacted the EA cricket beta team 'via satellie'. R.I.P DJ.
I loved how he threatened to take people for a thrashing online, like a guy in a bar offering to take someone outside for real life fisticuffs. He was like a cross between Scrappy Doo and Kim Jong Un.

Ha, the Scrappy Doo comparison is very accurate. His combination of supreme self-confidence and semi-literacy was quite something to behold. Do you think he actually wanted to call himself 'Dean Jones' but ended up spelling the name wrong?

Firstly, that was not your first post... Look again. Secondly, you assumed people were being coy, hiding stuff from you. We were asked to test online and we both said we promised we would. I will be defensive, because you think I and others are on some kind of power trip. Enjoying the importance of my position. I think it stems from your incessant FOMO.

I wouldn't have to time or ability to test the game. I am extremely grateful to those that are dedicated in helping to make this best game possible, and I understand that patches will be released when they are released. It is just that the beta is brought up often and when questioned on its current state some get very defensive.

I thought it was resolved last night but you've brought it up again. Let's just agree to disagree.

Just to give some feedback on the beta build at the mo: both batting and bowling are much more satisfying and the edges are back.....England are currently 43 for 3 off 22 overs (me batting) with AI bowling a very challenging line and length, they have a good field that they are sticking to and have not been chopping and changing. As has been said the AI bat very sensibly; block, leave, hit the bad ball....however they are scoring way too slow but playing sumptuous cricket. But as I said in the beta forum this is the best build we have had since before release as far as I am concerned. That is really great.

Any questions about have they fixed this or that or will they do this or that or anything else will be ignored. That’s the nda we are under; nothing written, a gentlemans agreement, no being coy but being respectfull. We are free to speak about our experiences of the builds we are given without alluding to any permanancy of the acheived fixes or any content whatsoever that falls outside of the category; “I played the build and experienced this or that compared with x or y build.”

What he said...

I will add that I know it’s hard to wait and I no everyone wants to play. Trust me I’m the same, get impatient.

But... it’s does take time, there’s so many variables and 1.05 was rushed out to please a few screaming and shouting and it just did more damage than good.
