Ashes Cricket General Discussion

These are the posts that kill me, did your ex professional team mates never tell you to stop talking utter crap.

It’s a game, it won’t be anything like real life. Being an ex pro or an armchair viewer makes absolutely no difference.

I can get the frustrations of many and accept it. Your points just constantly contain sly digs and smart arse comments. Language barrier or not. They are a waste of time for people to read.[DOUBLEPOST=1520595728][/DOUBLEPOST]Also can we stop this whole beta team vs the rest shite.

I’m testing for hours to hopefully please you lads when you get your hands on it. I only post here for that reason.

Doesn’t matter how much you moan it won’t change nothing.

Let’s just go back to discussing the game, the improvements and what needs to be tweaked.

Essentially these little arguments are utterly and completely a waste of everyone’s time.

No i was never popular with my team mates or the opposition mate. You remind me one of my team managers. Infact you sounds like him too

Perhaps writing is not your strong point. You said an incumbent patch. That means it's the current one. Did you mean incoming patch perhaps? :yes
Reading still an issue I see?
I will slow it down for you you.
The. Current. Patch. Not. An. Incoming. One. The. Beta. Group. Has. Deals. With. The. Gripes.

Are all gripes DEALT with, or as you so eloquently put it, gone? No. But that's not what I said.

I don't think that is fair on them at all.

Generally they want the good builds out to everyone asap.

Except Snowy.

Like I’ve mentioned, there are contributions I have made outside of the beta testing conversations that you, nor anyone else in this forum (with the exception of two people) are aware of. I am not in a position to share the details of those contributions out of respect for those who have asked for my contributions.

The contributions I have made to DBC14, DBC17 and now AC by way of Community Creations show my investment and passion for the franchise, and for you to make a comment like this is not only insulting, but a reflection of how bitter and unnecessarily resentful you have become.

Have I tested the game and provided feedback to the same extent as the rest of the beta team? Absolutely not - there is no reality where I am going to claim this. Unfortunately I am no longer in a position where I can readily do this. However, I will gladly, and proudly claim that I have been contributing equally as much in other forms, which unfortunately, have not been made public yet.

I know I am consistently snarky and be aggressive in my attitude, but for you to seemingly start this vendetta against me as a result of an innocent and genuine question is embarrassing, and a reflection of you more than it is a reflection of me.

I'm still having trouble processing. Your original post said:

"You got patches and there is an incumbent patch that deals with all the gripes so far." This clearly states that the incumbent (or current) patch, deals with ALLLL the gripes so far (without all the extra llll's) :yes

So does it deal with ALL the gripes as per my post which followed yours or were you just overstating things? :cheers

@blockerdave seriously man, what the hell is your issue man? You really have no idea what this guy has been doing for the last three months?
I have personally never had any issue with you but this is not on.[DOUBLEPOST=1520596382][/DOUBLEPOST]

I see...

Getting back to the game . Any of you people remember last lara cricket game and there was a brilent guy in the form who made it possible to replace pre set field settings with user created ones. I really injoyed that. Call me stupid but for the life of me i cant understand why BA cant give pre set fields replacement option.

I see too. Thanks for telling us about the fixing of ALL the gripes. Appreciate it. ;)

Anyhow, aside from that rather productive convo, back to discussing proper aspects with others.

I'm wondering if the new pitches visually look different along with play different. Playing more like the described conditions sounds terrific, but I have been wondering if they actually look like they vary. Obviously cracks seem to change and progress, but more the colour, grass level etc. Do they look like actual green or dusty wickets etc. Fine if that hasn't changed, as playing like proper progressive pitches is a huge step forward in itself.

Did Ross say he pays people to be here in his stead? Not that I’ve noticed.

I appreciate the feedback from the beta-team but I don’t think he’s getting his money’s worth from those paid BA staff who frequent this site.

It would have taken five minutes for one of those paid staff members to mention the rapid patching enjoyed by AO rather than declaring it as if it was obvious, as if we were idiots not to have figured it out for ourselves.

Customer service isn’t difficult.
