Only thing I could say is maybe things didn’t go to plan. Maybe Tennis didn’t go to plan. It hasn’t maybe planned out as they would of hoped.

Patches haven’t flown out but they have apart from maybe a month around Christmas been working with us, getting feedback and tweaking as much as possible.

So is it the support we all wanted? NO

Have they just left the game to rot? NO

Has the game in my opinion been significant improves? YES

Things get promised all the time and it doesn’t work out how it’s intended. Again it may just be me, but who cares, it is what it is.

Some people seem to get really really hung up on it and angry.

Imagine if something actually bad happened......

So you have no actual evidence as yet to back up your statement? Okay. Thats clear then. I will ignore it then as pure conjecture. As suspected.

I dont need a poll as the question doesnt interest me as to whether there should be online or careermode.

Everyone here were begging for a career mode in a cricket game, I don't have go around searching google for that.
Not everyone have great internet speed so career mode is the best thing to have in cricket games, in countries like India, Pakistan, bangladesh etc not everyone will have fast internet so I don't see how you can sell online in those countries.

Either what they prob wouldn’t tell us the truth anyway as it’s none of our business

Is funny most people dont understand how a business would work. Trust me if they only produce one game and they have to keep on pumping all their resources for that game for a year. Well i dont think they would develop another game without going bankrupt. Its a business . The 90$ you paid for the game is not going to pay all the bills

i'm not talking about tennis. i am sure indeed that the reaction wasn't as expected - nobody plans to put out a game that gets (fairly) roasted.

i mean more the stuff about there being only a month around christmas where they weren't engaging with the beta. i am sure things have improved massively since (because?) i left the beta, but it was a desert in terms of ba engagement from before release. there was no beta involvement in the 2 immediate patches, and very little communication with us between that and the "do nothing patch". (one long chat about slip positions was pretty much it.)

after that, it was more or less radio silence certainly no talk about the game.

and let's be honest even before then communication was poor

Hey, I'm just doing my job, working hard, hoping one day I will achieve my dream goal of becoming a 'Beta Guy' . Simultaneously, I'm working hard on my sarcasm and ignore skills.
It's a very competitive world, cant take anything or anyone lightly. Meanwhile, refreshes the depot page once again .

And i don't think anyone has any problem with that... except the CEO of the company took time out of his day to come on here and say:

Both Consoles / PC will all receive the most generous support any Big Ant Studios game has ever received, I say that unequivocally, we have priced the ongoing support into the purchase, we don't have loot boxes, ultimate team, micro transactions or any other intentions to monetise this game.

This was posted on the day of the last patch. if people think that what has happened since is in line with that, fair enough. i personally don't.

And moreover, my beef more than anything is the lack of engagement with the community, and the painting of the most extreme trolls here as representative of the community and using that as justification for not engaging. but seeing as the senior staff of the forum endorse that view of their own members, it's perhaps unsurprising.
