Well, as far as I know, this is based on the British show Ashes to Ashes. But I'm rather sure it does encompass a wide range of things, even maybe the Ashes series.

Your use of the word para has made me think of Angela's Ashes now too, tv series set largely in Ireland.

Well, I think that is a scummy post (defense) from WC having played with him in earlier game(s). He usually posts that sort of things when mafia iirc. Then again, it can all be his lack of mafia games experience or something like that.
