Asia Cup 2008

Me reckons India have the edge over Pakistan, not because I support India, its because India beat Pakistan in the ODI series and we have just won the CB seres, so we are it hot form in ODI's and I doubt 1 player (Jamshed) is going to make that much of a difference...

I think Its early days. Its long time for Asia Cup so better We will wait.:p

For me, this is probably the third largest limited over tournament there is.

The World Cup, the T20 Cup, then the Asia Cup.

I hope India can pull out a better performance then last time, and by the looks of things we should coast to an easy win.

Although Mendis will be immense.

Sri Lanka with the entry of Mendis will be boosted further. Personally, I feel they have the best bowling attack of the subcontinent (Vaas, Malinga, Murali, Mendis and others).

Pakistan - well dont know how they will fare against the big teams. I have not been that impressed with Shoaib Malik after the initial promise. Pakistan really need an aggressive and imposing captain who commands the side on the field.

India - After the exit of Ganguly/Dravid and the entry of the youngsters under Dhoni, India have transformed themselves quite well. Dhoni's captaincy is helping the team, and with the youngsters performing well in Australia, they are the hot favorites. Once Yuvraj starts firing, they will be unstoppable. They have a little weak bowling attack (Ishant has boosted it a bit but still our bowling in ODI's is very weak).

The bowling isn't that weak Sai, Praveen has made it better for sure, and I think and attack consisting of Ishant, Praveen, Pathan and Sree/Zaheer/Chawla isn't something of a weakness.

Sri Lanka would have lost all confidence after the Windies mauled them,i think it would be an India Pakistan Final.

Srilanka was so average against WI.With current form even Bangladesh will give them tough fight.

SL will come back strong IMO, they won't let one series get in the way of progress...

They will Sanjay Bhai..lol.
They are looking like Bangladesh at the Moment.:p

You have to remember that Sri Lanka are operating with an inexperienced side with more raw players then most other teams.
