Hah wow and the experiment works. We have also wasted a review so MSD has to go back. His struggle against the spinners continues.

Well what has happened here. Afghanistan has fought back superbly. Jaddu needs to get these runs quickly and knock off this chase.

9 down now. It will be a lucky escape if India win and heartbreak for Afghanistan.

Afghanistan should thank the third umpire.... Jadeja had sealed it with a six, but the third umpire ruled it as four. And with just one run left, Jadeja didn't need to go for that aerial shot. Could've played it down.

Afghanistan running both Pakistan and now India to the wire this is a historical day. Safe to say they are no longer coming into their own anymore and are well in the mix with the top dogs no question. Exciting times! Can't wait to see them playing in more regular series.
As a cricket fan I hope this galvanises the likes of Sri Lanka and West Indies too now because it looks like they're getting leapfrogged.

What an amazing effort by Afghanistan. I am disappointed India didn't win but I am happy the match is tied because of what it means to Afg. Fantastic effort and passion shown by these young fellows, they will be a force to reckon with in the future. Came so close to beating Pakistan, Bangladesh and tied with India. The Afghans back home must be so proud of these guys and it means a lot to them.

Of course very good comeback from Afghanistan bowlers after the way India started their innings. However, they did get a lot of help from umpires to tie the game. That Dhoni decision was wrong, that Karthik decision was a shocker and also that last shot that Jadeja played was hitting the rope and was a 6, not a 4.

Don't think I've seen such atrocious umpiring in an international game in ages.

Proud of how Afghanistan have played and competed against bigger teams in tournament. It is one thing to keep playing in flat conditions but it takes skill and talent to compete.

I think the CT17 final was a case of Pakistan being unable to stop winning in an ICC tournament once they're on a roll. Same thing happened in 2009 and '92.
Coach and captain responsible when team not doing.1992,2009 and 2016 gets nothing to do.pakistan poor in all 3 depatments.Do they deserve final on Friday?

It is really hard to not be a fan of this Afghan team .. Loving this team and their fans too. They seem be cricket lovers and yet show a lot of maturity regardless of whether their team wins or loses

(unlike some other up and coming teams)

Umpires were out to favors Afghanistan but lucky escape for India as jadejas 25 created 5th tied for MSD's ODI career.

S.Kaul after 4 ODI remains wicket less, sorry for him and khaleel who both bowls well during death overs.

MSD do not wants to bats at 4/5 for sure he wants to go back to his original number lower down.i hope he retired after 2019 WC[DOUBLEPOST=1537929750][/DOUBLEPOST]SALUTE to Afghan for 3rd close game, it's great cricket match when two sides creates close results than one sided results

Agree! When you force MSD to bat at 4 this things will happen. Manish Pandey could bat at no 4 yesterday, in SRH dressing room he played Rashid Khan. Thanks to Khallel Ahmed, he took that single!
