Great, well done Suren, Correct answer.

Gooch never gave another chance after that one, and went on to beat Don Bradman's test record at Lords'.

Rep points for you :clap

Australia Own the 2nd Session

Australia have dominated the 2nd Session of the match against Bangladesh. Australia only conceeded 65 runs for the 2 hour event, while Australia took 5 wickets. Nathan Bracken only last a few minutes after lunch when he walked off the ground with what seems to be a calf injury. Bracken was bowling well to the Bangladesh players when he walked off the field after his over, and seem to be in a great deal of trouble. Bracken will be sorely missed, but that didnt stop Australia from dominating the session.

Brett Lee celebrates a wicket with Matty Hayden

Javed Omar was great for Bangladesh but he didnt make an impact that was needed by Bangladesh. It was Shane Watson that was the victim of good bowling to Omar, a LBW decision that was a difficult one for the umpire to make, and it took him a while to make his decision. Omar was very un happy with the decision, but he couldnt do anything as the umpire already made his decision. Omar played suberb for his 48 runs, just missing out on the half cenutry, which Omar would of really enojoyed. Omar faced 98 balls for his 48 runs while hitting 7 boundaries. The Crowd gave Omar a great round of apluase when he walked of the ground after being dismissed. Omar was out the ground for 132 minutes and looked to become very tired after facing that long in the middle with the sun shining on the middle of the ground.

Omar didnt have too many friends on the day, with only 2 wickets remaining, which will give Australia a little bat in the first day. Hasan was gone for a duck only facing 3 balls, when Brett Lee bowled him LBW. Brett Lee has been Australia's best bowler at this stage, taking 3 wickets. Ricky Ponting was good in the field, also taking the 1st catch of Australia's Tournament taking the catch of Islam that was bowled by Lee again dismissing Islam for 10. Shane Watons has been good for Australia aswell, taking 2 wickets at this stage of the match while Stuart Clark and Nathan Bracken (Injured) have taken 1 wicket each. Shaun Tait will continue after the tea break with Stuart Clark, and Australia will look to get those 2 wickets early so they can start to have a bat.

Just now saw this! I know its too soon to respond ;)

Btw, great pres roo.. Aussie bowlers have done a good job to make Warne happy :p

Bangladesh all out on 188

Australia keep Bangladesh to 188 with one of their main bowlers out injured. Nathan Bracken came limping off the ground with what looked to be a calf injury. Bangladesh has made a 188 innings to start of the Tournament against Australia. And it was Omar that set up Bangladesh at the beginning. Making 48 Omar was good in the heat today. But he didnt have much help out their this afternoon. Only Saleh and Hossain nout out were the real other players to trouble Australia.

Stuart Clark bowls for Australia

With the quick bowlers making the days play, Australia decided to give them a rest in the last couple of wickets to get, with spinners Michael Clarke and Andrew Symonds getting a bowl at the end of the innings. And both of them no doubt took wickets. Andrew Symonds with just his 2nd ball of his spell took the wicket of Rafique clean bowling him for 13, and Michael Clarke only bowling 1.4 overs, took the last wicket of the match, making Kabir walk the crease and missed the ball completely. Gilchrist was aware behind the stumps and was quick to get the ball to his hands to the stumps, and Kabir was stumped behing which left Australia to have an hour of play left in day 1 to have a bat and chase down Bangladesh's score.

All the Australia bowlers bowled very well today. The best out of them was Brett Lee early in the morning, but Watson, Bracken and Clark were also good. Shaun Tait was the only bowler that couldnt find a wicket, as he went for under 3 an over, one of the highest for Australia. Australia was inconsitant with their no balls, giving away 5 no balls and 6 leg byes which all went past Gilchrist. Australia will now have an hours play, to see what they can chase down with Hayden and suprisingly Gilchrist opening the batting for Australia.

Really those short pitched deliveries shd have been smashed for 6s :p See see, Bangla's spin attack going to make tough for Aussies ;)

Great story and update roo.
Nice stuff by Aussies. Lets hope we can press on and dominate this game!

Hayden domintaes to end Day 1

Australia have bowled out Bangladesh to have an hour bat at the end of the day one interval. Suprisingly Adam Gilchrist was openning the batting with Matthew Hayden which came to a shock to everyone, and as it turned out, Gilchrist should of stayed where he was at number 7. Just only facing 7 balls and for no runs Gilchrist was bowled out by Hossain, which gave Australia the worsets start possible. But it was Ricky Ponting and Matthew Hayden that started to get Australia going. Nicely playing the 2's and singles, Hayden and Ponting lookt to be in good form out in the middle. There was an incident that might of been called out for Hayden as he played a pitch and missed it, fielders appeal for an edge which was caught by the keeper, but the umpire didnt want to have a bar in it, and replay shows that Hayden did get a knick onto the ball, which made him very lucky to be still in the middle of the ground.

Matty Hayden watches the ball go for four

Hayden has played most of his balls on the on side with great power, staying away from the outfield which is still very slow as we saw in the Bangladesh innings. Both Hayden and Ponting have put away a boundary, but now with the night ahead of them and a whole days play tomorrow, they can think about what they need to do together to get Australia in the best possible form they can be in.

Ricky Ponting came onto the ground and didnt take him long to adapt to the conditions. Was a cold night here, and it was nearing the end of the day, Ponting would of just hoped to have not gone out, and lasted to the end of the days play to get himself right for a whole days play tomorrow. But Ponting came out and played well. Faced 33 balls, and has hit 13 runs which does include a boundary, so would be more then happy with what he has acheived. And at the end of the days play, Australia is 46 for 1, with Bangladesh leading by 142 runs.
