Don't worry you're be seeing him in the 2nd test :) If we're dropping Clarke, Martyn should follow suit.

Yes Australia might aswell keep Clarke, Martyn's getting old now anyway :p.

martyn just got a hundred and saved us last match, and he got out to one that didnt boucne in 1st innings

Ye but theres not point keeping him if he scores 1 hundred, he has to do more.

Hopefully if they do collapse, Gilly will continue his current form in this match :D but taking 5 bowlers was a terrible idea in the first place.
not really - we either we went with two spinners and left Dizzy out or went three and one and left mcgill out.

5 bowlers should of been ok if the batsman had of done somthing last innings

He should have stayed in the 2nd inns though. Thats what the number 4 should be doing, we can't keep relying on Gilly and the tail to save us. When Martyn becomes more reliable at 5 then he won't have people calling for his back but right now he isn't that.

Exactly without MacGill or Dizzy Bangladesh would have made 500 and then 300 in the 2nd inns.

we are forgetting somthing - no Justin Langer

not only we missing him at the top but missing Hussey down the order where we look more stable because he is covering for Justin

hopefully Aus notice this and have Jaques as next opener with Hayden.

Could have dropped Clark even though he had an incredible tour of SA. :p

Ponting was too confident of winning by like...an innings and 200+ runs is what I saw when he chose 5 bowlers.

I also still blame the damn selectors for dropping Martyn after the Ashes...so much pressure to stay inform or risk being dropped for the rest of his career.

As the Ashes come closer everything is going to change and the team is never going to be the same again.

Not after 3 test and Clark wasn't even a fill in so no way in hell the selectors could have dropped him. You can't assume hes going to have a crap one of the flat pitches.
