He must be breaking records left right and center.

How far off is he for most balls faced by an australian? How far off the record 3rd wicket partnership were Hussey and Dizzy for Australia.

I might investigate some of this myself.

Poor Hussey. Missed out on a realy good chance to make 200. I suspect Ponting is definitely letting Dizzy go for a double 100. Then declare.
I wonder how high Dizzy should be batting, cause hes wasted as low as 10. He definitely deserves to bat with more batsmen instead of guys like McGrath ;)

Yeah, but he doesn't 'always' perform like this. However, he is a highly capable lower order player these days, which further strengthens the somehow impenetrable Australian tail. He probably should be slotted in at 8 above Lee, or below him at nine, with Warne at 10 :p

He should come above Lee and Warne really. They play their shots so its probably a good idea. He can either support a batsman or support them.

This is only 1 innings against Bangladesh, but he averages something around 70 balls faced per innings.

He's still 40 balls behind Hayden, a long way behind Taylor and Cowper, well over 500 there.

Dizzy's slowed down now..no more slogs, back to deadbat defence and little nudges again ..he knows how big this could be ! Only Langer, Hayden, Ponting & Gilchrist have got 200, in the whole squad so he'll be ticking a lot of guys off in the side. Go Dizzy :).

I think Stuart Clark will be sharing the new ball with Lee.

Relying on a player born overseas. And people have a go at England for that.......

hey just because your team is full of south africans no need to have a go at us pinning our hopes on a portugese bloke :p....all we want is a decent allrounder :(

South Africa and Australia are Test playing nations. Don't think Portugal ever will be 1 during his lifetime.
