Good to see Bracken finding rhythm early on, the fresher option has been effective already and Australia firmly in control. His variations have really taken his one-day game to another level, and Ponting can now call on him in various situations.

Johnson is definitely bowling well but without luck. In one of his previous overs he beat the edge twice then found it only for it to go past Gilly. Even though his figures don't really show it he seems to be troubling the batsmen a great deal.

Yea from what I've read he has bowled some good balls, hes also getting pace and swing. Not too bad from him.

Ponting isn't yet again stuffing up the guy making his debut. Cullen isn't going to get many overs if Hussey keeps bowling.

why is hussey bowling? if he wants to exploit some remaining swing then surely bracken should be bowling.

Ponting is finally giving a newbie a decent run, Cullen on and it's the 19th over. Not bad at all by Ponting's standards. Starts with a maiden not bad at all from the young man.
