You sure Cullen can spin it?
Barely saw anything at all turn for him.
Then Hoggy comes in and his wrongun spun heaps.

Yep i know 1 sometimes 2 bad balls is no good for a top class player.
But for most the over he really troubled the batsmen with great line, length and speed.
Beat the outside egde a number of times and also got a few edges through about 2nd slip region.
So Johnson does look promising but still not ready.

We have 5 specialist bowlers in the team why would you bring on Hussey before even trying all your specialist bowlers or a part timer.
And if your talking about the chance Gilly dropped of Hussey when referring to that he should have had a wicket, no way.
The ball was short and going down legside, it should have been spanked for 4 or left to be called wide.
Batsmen missed it hit his glove or something and Gilchrist was standing up to the stumps and was standing in the right place.
If he caught that it would have been an amzing piece of reflexes and the batsmen would be extremely unlucky.

They still could have bowled them under 200 with Tait there. He could have ripped up from this situation. Or of course get smashed like Lee usually does. 250 could be possible if our usual death problems occur.

LoL what is going on with Tait, i mean i know he's injured but its become blatantly obvious that the selectors havent a clue what to do with the guy!

42.2 Lee to Habibul Bashar, OUT: play down the track, played over long
and missed Gilchrist made a easy stumping

what?????

Stumped off Lee. You have to be joking.

EDIT: Sorry cricinfo stuff up. It was Hogg.

If he was playing Bangladesh may have been out by now. Johnson back on to bowl some death overs. Heres his chance to get some cheap wickets.

lol i remember when Gilchrist stumped Craig McMillan off McGrath a few years back, that was glorious glovework.

but Lee LOL....dumb cricinfo

Johnson picks up his 1st ODI wicket :) As predicted it was a cheap one against Bangladesh but it's reward for him not being smashed like usual so that Ponting could bring him back for a 2nd spell.

I don't remember that. But there is some difference between McGrath and Lee pacewise lol.

OUT: on the leg stump, bats move across
batsman missed and bowled

hehe funny wicket!!

Hogg deserves his 3 for, he bowled well before the death. Looks like we will get Bangladesh out for under 200 after all.

Lol OMG, Symonds bowling in the final few overs and picks up a wicket. What on earth was Ponting thinking, nothing wrong with Symonds.
