Australia in India

But oh well, I'd rather be an Arrogant Australian then an Idiotic Indian.

you can never be an indian... so stop ur crap! you're coming from a country who try to destabilise the opposition with their words and their captain talks about fair and aggressive cricket on the field.... mr. punter has surely made a fool out of himself by doing that. getting so many controversial calls doesnt mean we would have lost another match. if not for sachin, it would have been yuvraj or dhoni or uthappa or pathan or dravid. if a team wins two matches in a row, it doesnt mean they will automatically win the third one.

To me, that post made no sense.

It's got to do with being ranked the best in the world and losing despite several controverisal calls. But because we're proud of our country & take pride innit unlike another particular country who burn props & objects once they get knocked-over of a tournament; those sort of countries tend to try and mock us so they can feel superior but when they lose they are start saying "Oh, I didn't really care about the result."

But oh well, I'd rather be an Arrogant Australian then an Idiotic Indian.

Australians are bad losers so many complains they forget that andrew symonds also got a decison in his favour when he was out,

people who burn posters are only a media gimmick people have many more things than go on streets and burn posters. Its just for people like you to see

Why should anybody mock you you lost in the t20 world cup semifinal to india
and were sent packing do not forget,

And allthough you won the series in india in the last 5 test series its 2-2

So i would rather be a optimistic indian than a idiotic australian who barks

To me, that post made no sense.

to me your post made no sense:p

And do not worry about your ranking you will not stay there for much time ,your time is over

Tendulkar batted with great composure, even though he was struggling in the early part of the innings he did not throw it away,he got some luck and the
decisons he was the getting for the last 2 months ,luck had to come back to him.

If he had thrown his wicket then india would have been 10-4 or so

it was a great patnership in bowling friendly conditions.80 of 110 balls after getting 5 of 30 ball is great

no way he is the man ,when he plays well we win when he does not we lose

I Always expected india to win if they bat first i have been shouting that we should always bat first, finally dhoni heard me:happy

I Do not think there is much differnce between the teams the toss will again be crucial at baroda

10-4 or 10-5,India has good batsmen downt the order who can take it to a respectable total.
Struggling,excuse me,are we playing in India ?
What will happen to him in Australia,I wonder.

The sentence in bold makes no sense at all.
If that were the case,India should never have won the T20 World Cup.

It's not going to happen anymore.
How about dropping Zaheer for him?

Zaheer for Badri ?
Who will bowl ? Dhoni ?

But..who?
We need a strong opening pair and Ganguly and Sachin are the best for the job, no matter what anyone says. They're still legends.

They were the best, not any more.
Atleast Ganguly can dominate,not Tendulkar.

Spot on,those who say sachin should be dropped as ganguly said on a network have gone mad:eek:

Thats the problem,isnt it ?

There are some who have been blinded by Tendulkar.
Having too much of a good thing is bad for health.

If Sourav, the best captain or one of the best, can be dropped, why not Sachin ? He is not God,is he ?

Bad losers? Has any Aussie complained about losing that ODI yet? No. Indians are worse! See how they reacted in the 50 over WC...

Why is "our time over"? I must say thats the dumbest thing I have heard in a while. Australia is dominating the 50 over game and the Tests so why would our time be over soon? We still have players in our "A" team that are better then players in other Test playing teams. We have so much depth its not funny. So our time isn't going to be over any time soon.

I Think with out mcgrath and warne australia would not be able to dominate
specially away from home in tests. In odis they may still be good but they will be overtaken by other teams when gilly and hayden go.

Tell me how many times have those batsman you are talking about
have contributed when they face the moving ball.

In india it is more difficult due to early starts where the pitch is damp and posses variable bounce where as in australia you gennerally get good dry pitches with even bounce.

Zaheer khan should concentrate on test matches He is not a good fielder
and in odis he should be rested and sreesanth should be played we need some variation.

If tendulkar had played the t20 we should not have lost even one game.

If a guy has to dropped it has to be due to his performances not because
he is looking ugly while scoring how can you forget the last series we played he was the top scorer and dominated england and was the only one attacking flintoff while ganguly was not been able to dominate isn't.

Sourav was dropped because he was not performing with the bat look at sachin hehas just crossed 1000 runs in the year

Then call Ben arrogant. You adressed us a country, when no one else has been arrogant.

As for our time is up, we have plenty of backup for McGrath, he wasn't our best bowler in the leadup to his retirement, his World Cup was great but his Ashes and last ODI series at home were ordinary to say the least, as was his Chappell-Hadlee series.

Stuart Clark was a better bowler at that time.

As for Test cricket, losing Warne will hurt us, but we have still got MacGill who is a world class spinner, then plenty of youngsters to step up when the time comes.

Langer, Martyn and McGrath are all replaceable immediately, as they all have strong competitors, and were all passing or past their peak.

YOUR COUNTRY IS DOING EXACTLY THE SAME THING!

Our players just aren't crying to the media about it.

Yeah, talking about Australian umpires they are so good because they can give a batsman out LBW when he's hit on the shoulder when playing a bouncer. :p
Considering the fact that we had the top two umpires when Hair was sacked, and now just have the top umpire, I don't see a problem.

You really look like you could use a shovel.

Arrogance is not a privilege. It's just a rude behaviorism.
There are Indian idiots, just as there are Australian Idiots. There are just quite a few of the former on this forum. If it wasn't for you Sohum, this thread would be unbearable. Obviously Ben has strong personal feelings against the guys on here, or the team itself.

Congratulations on the win India. I'm not a sore loser, I'm happy enough that we are up 2-1 anyway, so enjoy the victory, let's hope our boys can stick it to you next game.

Umpiring are also humans they make mistakes india had also been of the recieving end of many rash decisons in england ,south africa, and in the t20 world cup
so they had to get the rub of the green someday.

Australians players did cry to the media remember what symonds said.

i was never a fan of hair allthough simon is a great umpire.

Yeah, Tendulkar should've been clearly given out 3 times though. Sure he scored considerably slowly but with wickets in hand, it allowed all the other batsman to attack with freedom at the end.

How do you know Yuvraj, Dhoni or Uthappa would've done the job?

Judging from other matches earlier in the series when Tendulkar hasn't made runs, India haven't come close to getting a score of 290 odd.

I'm sure Dravid or Yuvraj would've contributed had Tendulkar been given out first ball but I doubt they would've gotten anywhere near the score of 290 if Tendulkar hadn't of batted for as long as he did and steedied the innings.

On a side note, our time is hardly over. Had things gone our way in this series then we'd be 4-0 and be getting ready to watch 3 dead-rubbers. We've outplayed India so far this series but some distance, I don't think the results justify how well we've been playing.

I don't have a racial problem with Indians, but have been unfairly attacked by several Indian supporters during the 14 months I have been on this forum which has led to me reacting in an arrogant / harsh manner which has eventually led to other Indian supporters disliking me recently since this series has begun.

I'm not the only one btw, I know a few others on this forum who get attacked unfairly by Indian supporters and not all of them are Australian.

However, I do believe fans have the right & should be biased towards their own country when competing against another country under whatever circumstance.

I agree with you ,Fans should support their own countries there are many who just support the team that wins which i dislike the most because they fear to lose.

Many indians justsupport when we win and when we lose they turn the back on the team.

Symonds wasn't upset over 'harsh words' though, he was only upset because of Sreesanth's bad sportsmaship in the actual game. it's silly when playes complain about talk on the field, even if it is rude they are only words.

If you let them get to your head that's when you start losing. The Aussies have the mental toughness and respond aggressively, which is why they are so good. The great West Indies were as intimidating as any side has been, and now the Aussies are playing the same game.

I agree with the last two couple of comments, everyone should support their team as hard as possible.

Ben is reacting like the Aussies do I suppose, by retaliating. Don't worry about it Ben, just let the team do the talking.
