Also if you take India's bowling into consideration, apart from Harbhajan noone made a significant impact in 2001. even A. Kumble was not part of 2001 series. india's bowling is a lot better now than 2001.
You may have a slight point there since Aussie bowling attack is more complete than 2001 but, that too would not be enough to risk sending India to follow-on.
Aussies are going to be really cautious this time around. I guess they have understood that "Discretion is better part of valor" (in India at least).
