India 2nd Inning 105/6 (Dravid 47*) (McGrath 2/9)

Well Bucknor does it again. I don't know why this moron has a grudge against the Indians? Was he a first class cricketer or something and got thrashed by indian batsmen when WI toured India or India toured WI?

I think he has become the worst umpire right now.

Billy Bowden too gave dubious decision. The funny thing is that all these dubious decisions come when India are already on the mat.

Lets hope taht along with indian player's performances the umpires also give correct decisions.

True, but it only quickened the inevitable- the pitch held up surprisingly well

inevitable? yeah you can afford to say that playing with 13 players!

funnily none of the bowlers took top 3 indian wickets, one each to bucknor, bowden and ganguly's run out.

after months of bad decisions it's too obvious to pass as a coincidence or one bad day - it is daylight robbery.

some handy work by the aussie #12 and 13:
The batsman walked even as Bucknor was shaking his head and saying that the batsman was safe. With all eyes on the umpire, no one noticed Gillespie taking the long walk back to the pavilion.

The decision to send Virender Sehwag (0) back to the hut, leg-before the wicket off a McGrath delivery, was a shocker. The thick edge was even visible from the press box, which is at least 150 yards away from the pitch. But Bowden, somehow, did not hear nor see the edge. (1 for 1)

Next to go was Chopra. This time it was the handiwork of Bucknor. It is almost like the umpires were taking turns at giving bad decisions. Gillespie was the bowler and the ball seemed destined to go down the leg-side. But not according to the umpire.

Warne to Dravid, FOUR, pitched outside the leg stump and turning in, ball clips the pad and runs down to the third man fence, bat was safely tucked in behind the pad, Bucknor gives it as runs! so in case he was caught, bucknor was ready to raise his finger.

I think ICC needs to change the rules, if umpire makes a bad decision batmans has a right to challenge the call and goto 3rd umpire...just like in NFL

I read that ICC is considering this but they need to implement it soon

So you think that you could've chased over 450 runs to win in the last innings on a wearing pitch, even assuming perfect umpiring?

That wasn't good captaincy from Gilly, you can't just leave Warnie on in the hope that he can get the record

Lol by Pathan and Singh. High scores for tailenders!!

India could have saved the match if it was not for the bad decisions. but I am not denying that Aussies dominated the match and in the end deserved to win :boxing
still 3 tests to go and every chance of a comeback..come on India!!! :shout :gundown

if not that atleast they should allow third umpire to overrule any bad decisions made in the middle.

I heard that the batting team would be able to appeal against a decision up to 3 times an innings. Give it a try I say; the technologies there so why not use it?
