I think if you ask Steve Harmison when England toured here, he'll tell you that Ntini tore him apart a few times, he can hit a ball hard when he actually hits it lol.

That actually brings me to a point about SA.It seems to be a place where bowlers are brought down to earth.Harmison was expected to destroy us after his recent performances, but ended up getting smacked all over. Then came Shane Bond, same result.I wouldn't say Brett Lee has exactly ripped us apart as well, hopefully he wont do so in the tests.

He can keep saying he won't be deep down we all know he wants a fairy tale finish. Hes just keeping the fans in suspense.

Just found out Gilly is one 6 away from taking the title of Cairns for most 6s hit in test match cricket.

Yeah, they've been even for a while. Afridi will top the list though soon enough. He has the best 6's to games and runs ratio. Cairns would be second there.

Obviously Afridi would be the best, he either whacks them for 6s or gets out. Gilly is more boundaries, Cairns more 6 hitting.

To be honest, I don't really know what you're on about , but if you're comparing the recent SA/AUS ODI with the WC semi-final of '99, (which I'm not sure you are...) you may realise they are from different centuries, one being the 20th, and the other the 21st.

in different contexts, different players and conditions, different ground (this one's much smaller).

Match going to start soon, i hope Aussies bat first, so SA can face the spin tune in their last innings.

have they announced the team lineups yet?

whether Pollock will play or Hall will come in for him

and whether Kasper or Clark partner Lee with the new ball...i hope they choose Kasper.
