1st ODI - New Zealand v Australia at Seddon Park, Hamilton

With the dismissal of Ponting, Clarke and White were not taking any rick's (Picking up singles and two). When 50 was up for Australia, The crowd were cheering. With the change in the bowling (Vettori), White was caught be-hind (McCullum takes the caught). Now Michael Hussey joins Michael Clarke (Michael's Need to boost the Run Rate and Build Partnership). It was the last over of the power-play, (26 runs coming of the power-play 2).

Vettori was continuing he spell (gave up a four, First boundary after nine overs). A first over maiden from Vettori ( gave couple of boundary and Economy Rate is about 6.40 runs per over). And Runs are coming quick and fast for Australia, (Four boundaries coming in the last 3 overs). McCullum the other spinner was given the bowl, He bowled extremely well, three runs in his over (McCullum). It was the end of the 20 over. Now with the build in the partnership, Michael Clarke (35) and Michael Hussey (17) were aiming to be there at the end.

100 was up for Australia and the partnership is looking dangerous (Michael Clarke and Michael Hussey). Michael Clarke move up to (41 off 49 balls) a mind blowing innings. And don't forget about Michael Hussey he had contributed (20 off 23 balls) with Michael Clarke. As well as (Fifty run partnership comings up between Michael Clarke and Michael Hussey). To break the partnership, Bond starts his new spell. But, rains boundaries, (8 runs of Bond over). It was off way innings as it was 25 over.

nice updates, great mix of pictures and writing, plus the merging of the two screenshots. keep going mate.

One small tip - Apart from taking screenshots of system generated replays, we can also try taking screenshots of manual replays to get better closeup picture of the player. You can get this idea from Treva's or just_cricket's or User2010's or mine's or anyother story that has been welcomed by members.

Don't worry about cricinfo. Tip for that too - Read the article which has impressed you in cricinfo & try to frame on your own with article's idea in mind & convert them to story paras here. :)

Hope it was helpful.

1st ODI - New Zealand v Australia at Seddon Park, Hamilton

As the partnership between Clarke and Hussey, Southee was given the bowl (To pick some wickets). Both the batsmen were striking about 100 S/R (Strike Rate). Hussy finds other boundary and the partnership moves up to 121 for the 5th wicket. A big stroke from Michael Clarke bring up the first six of the match ( he played towards mid-wicket). That six move me up to 90s (Michael Clarke). The only negative for New Zealand in the bowling was the Vettori, who was given 60 runs in his seven overs. It wasn't until Hussey (69) and Michael Clarke (93) came together that Australia found 150 run stand. A boundary from Hussey brings up 200 runs For Australia, Crowd were cheering.. Back to Back boundaries for Michael Hussey move to (80)

With the change (Bond) given away just 2 runs. Clarke just short of five runs for a 100. And Hussey eight runs short of 100. A brilliant century from Michael Clarke, He worked hard for his century. A top class innings for Michael Clarke. Now its Hussey on strike, He need 2 runs for he need two runs for his century. He will keep the strike it's 259 for 4. And either a century from Michael Hussey, Now a partnership of about 185. Hussey loves batting against New Zealand; his 5 ODI hundreds and his 10 Test century have come against them, and in all three forms of the game he averages 55.06 against New Zealand compared to an overall ODI career mark of 53.55. It was the Clarke-Hussey partnership that buried New Zealand. Hussey's century came at nearly a run a ball and featured seven boundaries but it was a support role. The best bowlers, Southee and Bond, were respected while Vettori and Oram were targeted by the two Australians. They knew that Southee's bowling options were limited and the none in the first 30 overs.

Power Play 3 have been taken at 40th over as the batting order is looking dangerous. And The power play is gone for just 28 runs. Excellent bowling and they made just two boundary's in those five overs. Tim Southee bowled well, James Franklin stepped up as a bowler in Oram's absence. A wonderful innings from Michael Clarke and Michael Hussey come's to an end. Eventually Manou tried to lift Franklin over mid-off only to see Oram sprint back to take a wonderful catch with the flight of the ball. Johnson was understandably elated when he cramped McCullum and drew an inside edge onto his stumps for 24 from 12 deliveries. Now New Zealand need 331 to chase down the target. Lets find out soon.

1st ODI - New Zealand v Australia at Seddon Park, Hamilton

A huge target there for New Zealand, And the openers playing well (As McCullum starts the innings with a boundary and then three continues boundaries for him, 17 runs off 6 balls). As Tait was not impress (16 runs in the first over). If you see a figure with Bollinger (only 3 runs coming in his first over). They were going about 6.37 in the 5th over (38/0) and Required Run Rate is 6.78. Australia to take the 2nd Powerplay but when Jesse Ryder edged behind off Johnson from the first ball of it, they were immediately back in trouble. And the first wicket goes down for New Zealand. A brilliant catch from Manou to dismiss Ryder. And with the change in the bowling (Watson) pick's up the important wicket (of Brendon McCullum, Shane Watson picked up second wicket and there were one wicket for Johnson as the early and late bursts from New Zealand bookended a painful grind. When Guptill (8) was unluckily caught behind off Watson, they were 77 for 3 and a sub-119 total was on the cards with Taylor (32 off 41 balls) and Styris (8 off 28 balls).

1st ODI - New Zealand v Australia at Seddon Park, Hamilton

With the poor start from New Zealand, Taylor (96 off 82 balls) and Styris (85 off 71 balls) were building up the partnership (Which is about 200 stand Partnership). A typically resistant 100 from Ross Taylor kept New Zealand in the contest before Lee delivered a perfect straight yorker that cannoned into the stumps when Taylor (103) tried to sweep and take advantage of the batting Powerplay. With Styris and the captain Oram stand 40 runs in vain, before Lee (2 for 49) and Tait (3 for 31) returned to grab the final two wickets of Oram and Styris to finish there overs. Vettori (19) and Franlkin (43) were brought up made an extremely useful 50 runs stand. McCullum arrived at the crease with 3 overs to go and 30 runs to win from 18 balls (New Zealand were 301 in 47 overs). And When McCullum (21) career-best made up the task up with 9 to win from the last over , and he found the middle of the bat regularly. stayed until the last ball of the 50th over, was a key part of New Zealand's success. Stryis, Franlkin and the Man of the Match Taylor, can all sleep well knowing they contributed to a morale-boosting win in the first ODI match, Which is 1-0 for New Zealand.

What on earth have you done to the font of the scorecard? I'd recommend a simple font like Arial, Tahoma or Trebuchet MS.

Writing is much improved - just paragraph your work so it looks neater.
This still has potential, keep it up!

Injured Lee left out of ODI matches

Brett+Lee+Press+Conference+4i5-ssuu-FPl.jpg

Australian cricketer Brett Lee speaks to the media at a press conference

21th March, 2010

Brett Lee's chances of returning for next ODI match have been reduced after he was left out of Australia's tour. There was an outside chance Lee would be picked in an attempt to prove his fitness from a injury that ruled him out of the One Day Matches, but the selectors have decided against rushing him back.
Lee's absence allows Ben Hilfenhaus a chance to push for a recall after a month or so. When Shaun Tait and Doug Bollinger were preferred to support Johnson. It is expected that only one of Tait, who performed strongly at Hamilton , and Hilfenhaus will turn out in the one day fixture.

Brett Lee will be missing the odi series and he may be back for Test series say's the Selector, Hilditch. "With Brett Lee ' right hamstring injury being more serious and likely to keep him out for at least the next four matches it is thought adding a standby player to the squad is a necessity," Andrew Hilditch, the chairman of selectors, said. "Given the most significant injury appears to be Lee' hamstring we have taken this opportunity to add Ben to the squad until the completion of game four in New Zealand, where we will again assess the situation before it is decided if he remains with the squad."

"Due to the condensed nature of this tournament Brett Lee will not recover in time to take any further part and has therefore been withdrawn from the squad for the odi matches. This is not a recurrence of the injury, but a new injury that will require specialist opinion upon his return to Australia."The right-armer Ben Hilfenhaus were the front-runners to replace Lee.

That's the way. You probably should give credit to the websites you've taken text off but at least this time you're getting it from many sources and putting it together, so basically you're learning some stuff from it rather than just copying and pasting one article.
Good for the Black Caps to see Lee out of action! :p
