It'll rarely work when you don't have a third man outside the circle. Even a miscue or an edge can easily fetch you a boundary without that outfielder and it's very easy to do that.

This is turning out to be a bit of a meme now but Green wasn't selected for fairly justified reasons before this series. Makes sense to gamble on such a brimming young talent after he's shown this quality in arguably his weakest format but then again who do you drop? None of them deserve the axing and to do so wouldn't be fair I presume.
