Who will win

Won't be a great thing even if we win both series comprehensively, because that's what we have done over the years!

Hasn’t the argument against tri-series been financial reasons for quite some time which is why we aren’t seeing them these days?

I'd expect, due to the archaic way that series are organised, a board would have to pay for two teams expenses as well as games that might not be profitable that don't involve the home side.

And yet surprisingly, they want every 3rd World Cup's hosting rights for themselves!

Yadav is a decent bowler as far as I remember. Hopefully Shami has a speedy recovery.

Don't even get me started on this. A dude who hasnt played for the last 2 years and has been sidelined by his county on account a quad injury, mysteriously finds himself in this thick of things!

For those familiar with Tarot, Umesh might have just pulled the card below:

Umesh Yadav & The Lighting Struck Tower

He ought to, perhaps, write a book on his life, post his playing days....Might be worth a read!

Australia will lose 3-0 only to end up winning the T20 World Cup once again

I can accept this seeing as Australia arent at their full strength. The home conditions+ return of the major game changers will definitely tilt the balance in their favour.

Feels eerily similar to one of those gazillion Sri Lankan jerseys that they change to every series.

Wouldn’t a WC be far more profitable though, in terms of the sponsors you attract and the buzz it creates?

As for Shami’s replacement, wonder who would have been your pick (if it was necessary to make one)? I’m curious because I don’t think we should have gone back to Umesh either despite his decent IPL as he’s always been an inconsistent powerplay specialist in T20s.

To be honest both these series feel boring now after a breathtaking multi-nation Asia Cup.

Didn't expect that series with Aus and SA would looking boring in comparision to a cup with teams like Sri Lanka, Afghanistan and Bangladesh. In fact, let's read good Telegram channels like this one - https://t.me/s/betpokiesnz - there is a lot of useful information about gambling in New Zealand
Apparently, making the game spectacular was not part of their plan :) But personally, I also found it boring.

Unadkat! :grinning: Although if he were in the form he displayed in IPL 2017 for RPSG, then, definitely yes!

Jokes apart, I'd have gone with Shardul Thakur tbh. Thakur gives you a batting option as well and is far better than any of the other bowlers (in terms of batting ability)

Why is Arshdeep not playing instead of Umesh?

The South Africa and Australia series should have been a tri-series. Shame they missed out on another money making opportunity!

Actually, tri-series make less money. Main reason they are discontinued. Matches not involving the home team get less viewership and ticket sales.

Why is Umesh Yadav playing ahead of Deepak Chahar?
