That's what happens when we face big teams like Australia.

Can't even invite Sri Lanka for a bilateral since we even lose to them now.

Should have kept a series with Ireland and Bangladesh to get some ego boost before the World Cup.

for the mighty Kane Richardson
BBL:

K. Richardson: 19 wickets @16.42 (Economy: 8.21) (SR: 12)
Ellis: 11 wickets @22.90 (Economy: 8.12) (SR: 16.9)

Hundred:

K. Richardson: 13 wickets @13.15 (Economy: 7.89) (SR: 10)
Ellis: 7 wickets @34.42 (Economy: 8.55) (SR: 24.1)

He is rightfully ahead of Ellis for now, He has performed consistently in the BBL & has been pretty reliable in International Cricket so far.

Had no idea that Richardson was that good in The Hundred tbf, not my favourite player but he definitely deserves to be ahead in the pecking order then.

It's got to a point that it's not funny anymore! Our bowling suddenly feels like it has gone way too backwards. Australia did it with ease. I mean this is the 3rd time now we have thrown away matches where bowlers have given away more than 15/16 runs per over in the last 3/4. Bhuvi is not what he used to be, Chahal isn't a T20I bowler. Harshal Patel will not workd in Australia. Pandya is a 6th bowler but might do well in Australia as the pitches might suit his style of hit the deck hard bowling. Bumrah alone cannot carry the whole bowling unit. It seems we are done even before the start of the WC!

Saw him a bit in The Hundred, he's really consistent. Had always written him off as a bit of a journeyman. Was surprised when Phoenix picked him up but I generally assume that most leagues these days know the best players.

Probably seen more of Ellis and think they're both decent.

I have said this before and will say it again the selection committee is the first one that needs to be sacked after all is done led by Chetan Chauhan.

Captain and coach does play a role in the final selection but the majority work is done by them.

They have been shitting ever since the last WT20 and needs to held accountable for the current squad selection.

Would you blame the selectors for players showing over-confidence in crunch moments of the game?

I watched the highlights of the first T20. Amazing Power-Hitting by both sides. In the end, Australia was too good to handle. Wade is a giant. His hitting reminded me what he did with us in the T20 WC Semi-Final.

For India, they seriously need to find good bowlers, They are banking too much on Bumrah. I am not following Cricket much but I didn't see Shami as well. That guy still had pace. Also that New debutant Spinner was good who played against Pakistan in the first Asia Cup game. Last but not least, Rohit Sharma gets panic. He is nowhere near to Virat let alone MSD. Thats my view.
