Australia Team Discussion

When will the Blues either produce or import a specialist limited overs bowler. Our attack has been found out in the first two JLT Cup games. Yesterday an errant Sean Abbott and Mickey Edwards were taken to the cleaners by a red hot Jake Weatherald. Daniel Sams and Jack Edwards show promise as limited overs all rounders but early days for them.

The Cricket Australia Pathways Program is flawed in its effort to prepare Australia's best young cricketers for a First Class career. Up until they begin Premier Cricket all these young cricketers play are white ball formats. Is it any wonder then that some of them do not have the technique needed to survive the immense pressure of top class red ball cricket. A prime example is Blues teen Jack Edwards. A man with an astute cricket brain former Test captain Kim Hughes pointed out Edward's diabolical technique in the JLT Cup match yesterday. Prior to meeting the ball the youngster moves his back leg deep into his crease and well to the leg side exposing his off stump. There has been no attempt by his junior coaches to get him behind and over the ball at the point of contact. With that technique he is always playing away from his body. This is unforgiveable CA and must be addressed asap.

You know whats better than one Vice-Captain.
TWO VICE-CAPTAINS!

Mitchell Marsh and Josh Hazlewood will be Vice-Captains together.

Good, some added responsibility.

Finch did play FC cricket for Surrey and failed. One particular match he scored 2 facing an international in Broad which probably shows he may not be up to an international standard but in his defence he was batting No4, Rory Burns and Mark Stoneman open for Surrey and they won't change that combination.

Our Southern Stars have walloped the Silver Ferns this evening in the first of the T20 internationals

Southern Stars win second T20 and the series. Good warm up for the T20 WC.

"There's certain elements of my game that have got better and it's nice to put them in place in the middle.

"I've worked hard on having softer hands when playing spin in these conditions … playing the ball later and being really strong in my defence."

This is music to the ears of Australian cricket supporters not so to bowling attacks around the world. Mitchell Marsh has matured and is ready to take on the world.

Yes it is DrewBi. Waddaya wanna talk about?

Why dont you name your second Test squad.
Obviously the team has already been named but he was my opinion before it was picked.

I think the team played pretty well but i think some people need to perform better. The Marsh brothers made 19 runs in 4 innings and they didn't really do anything else. JOn Holland played pretty well but he could bowl better. Starc bowled well at times but he can do better. I don't think anyone should have been dropped.
