2014-Lost A Test Series Against Pakistan after 20 years !!
2016-Lost A Test Match & The Series (3-0) Against Lanka after 17 years !! before that SriLanka only won 1 test match & 1 test series against Aus in the history !!

We have become Home Bullies and beside that we can only win in NZ & SA (Winning against ZIM & WI is not a big deal)
Can't Win In Asia & England
The Truth is Lehmann should leave !! we haven't improved under him even 1%

West Indies beat England, Bangladesh beat Australia.

Proposal: West Indies should play Bangladesh for the Ashes.

More than the coach, aren't the players to be blamed here? After all it's them who go out and perform on the field. There is only so much a coach can do.

Wow that is some win for Bangladesh. Very close game but yet again have Australia failed to score big on subcontinent pitches. They didn't do too much there though, but I'm seriously questioning the selection of Wade here. Hasn't scored much in the last few series at all though he did decent in the India series with 196 runs @32.66. Why no Nevill? This guy was dropped for no reason at all.

Just about to express my disgust with the demerit system. With idiots like Warner around no wonder the ICC are so harsh with players.

Id be looking downwards from the nationals though. Go watch an average shield game and see how you think it is for a training ground for the next lot of intl players...

Been saying that at county level in England for years now ...

There's too much competition for sporting people now. With the professionalization of sports across the board everyone is now pretty much after the same thing, teens that are fit and athletic, that can be coached, have drive and determination and reasonable coordination and balance. From that you can mold a successful sportsperson whether it be soccer or cricket or rowing or whatever...
In cricket theres also significant 'barriers to entry' for kids because all the kit is so expensive, compared to other sports where you need a uniform and a practice ball type thing. I havent run the numbers, but cricket is also a lot harder a sport to crack into as a professional player, compared to say soccer or AFL. If you are thinking of sport as a career, cricket is lagging behind in terms of incentives...
I could also talk about the Thatcherite thing of selling off green land in schools, meaning less cricket ovals etc, but thats a whole another post.

Its why I dont mind the T20 comps. Will attract alot more people to the sports from the ground up.
