Australia tour of India 2023 - 4 Tests , 3 ODIs

What's the point in India winning this 4-0 if they are simply going to lose the Oval Test that follows? :facepalm2:

Oh my. Guess I’ll monitor from cricinfo now. Aussies are in a mess.

Last 10 overs, 51-1. I guess that's the proper way to play right now.

Cummins the most underrated all rounder, he has the technique to bat on all the surface, India pls don't take him lightly.

I am all for home-advantage and India know damn well that their spinners are going to be a class above Australia - but to only water specific part of the track and selectively rolling/mowing and watering to "doctor" the pitch knowing that there are 6 or so left handed batmen in the Aus XI seems a little too far.

Looks like the toss might be an important one knowing that on days 3/4/5 those dry part are going to crack and spin like mad. Lets see how Aus approach the batting.
Nonsense. They’re entitled to it. Asian teams go outside Asia and cop it on the chin without whining about greentops and bouncy pitches. Only non-Asian team start crying about pitches in the subcontinent when they turn. Do you want India to end up like Pakistan, serving up flat decks?

Glad pat is gone.

I echo this.

Whoa..Shade of Ahmedabad from last English tour. Man, 220 odd in either first innings might prove handy. Not rating AUS spinners too high than IND but IND should make both sessions in day 2 count before tea and get 70 odd lead. Last two innings will be tough and Looks like 10 sessions will be enough to get a result

Honestly considering that we’re in the era of batsmen, it’s always fun to have these pitches that produce low scoring matches, whether it’s greentops or square turners

Oh boy! 177 it is. How will the Indian batsmen fare? They have seen how the pitch is, they have seen how the wickets have been taken, now can they apply themselves as Marnus and Smith/Handscomb did? I hope we end up batting until day 3 but it's not gonna be easy for sure.
