Australia tour of India 2023 - 4 Tests , 3 ODIs

Cummins and Lyon will have to do most of the work themselves.
Renshaw over Head seems baffling.

Soduku (Carrom ball) to finish the Aussies from Ashwin, well done Jaddu & co.

I simply don't understand the logic. But then I guess if it'd work we'd all be saying it was genius.

I also don't understand the decision to just give India runs. I don't think I've ever bowled with a field this defensive even in T20s; there are close catchers of course, but beyond that there's absolutely zero pressure on them.

The answer's simple: one's right handed, and the pitch clearly is at a disadvantage for lefties facing spin.

The one thing I'll say though is they should have dropped Warner instead of Head and opened with Renshaw.

Think am gonna be sick for a couple after this test match.

Couldn't have asked for a better day and start to the series. I really, really hope we can take advantage of this. However, my cynical mind can't forsee it.

100 bucks says Rohit will be dismissed within the 1st half hour and we will end up giving up wickets in packs. Waiting for Kohli's surprised/shocked face :D

I was thinking: I'm looking forward to Kohli's face when he gets bowled for 20 by Matt Renshaw.

Australia did so much research on this pitch, they might take this pitch to home, after series ends...
