Australia tour of New Zealand 2010

That's a cool record Taylor has, most innings, most games and most runs without a duck ever!

Its great to watch Johnson when he bowls like this, too bad we only see it once a season :laugh

Still can't decide who challenged Aus more this summer, the Pakistanis or the Kiwis, im leaning for the Pakistanis, at least they were in a decent winning position a few times.

Two more chances for Johnson this year, one to show he can bowl in England and one to show he can break Strauss's fingers (Y)

Gazza added 0 Minutes and 32 Seconds later...

Plenty of cricket to play this year for Johnson, tests in Eng, dont we play Bangladesh too or is that next year?

CA called it off.

Oh without any doubt Pakistan, I dont know what people were complaining about, we couldve lost both those first two tests if Pak didnt just fall apart, they had us on the back foot a lot of times. NZ just havent been anywhere near good enough.

Clarke's straight ball gets Sinclair, fail fail fail.

Our next Test match is July. Although we do have the T20 in May and ODIs against England in June. Johnson takes a while to click after a break and that looks like a pretty big break.

Clarke picks up a wicket, hes looking a lot more effective than Hauritz has.

Just realized Johnson got a pair!

And it wouldn't hurt for Dougie to spend more time on his feet! :laugh

Johnson's batting form has been a bit woeful recently, but it does not matter if he bowls like this! Ive always considered his batting a pure bonus.

Anyways, the Sinclair experiment safe to say has failed, yes he got starts , but so what? Is that what NZ need? a washed up domestic bully that gets starts. Why play anyone else when there is a phenom teenager in the ranks! :facepalm

That's the problem with the way they pick most players. It's an experiment rather than a selection. Given just two rolls of the dice, how many players could you expect to make a good score? The odds aren't good for any but the greatest players. Barring injury, if you pick a player thinking you might drop him the next match, you probably shouldn't have picked him in the first place.
