They will play in Div 1 because they are in top seven. Bangla / Zim / WI are shit and you know that (TEST)

My point is at that time i had no idea that 7 teams will play in DIV 1 and tbh i would rather have them in DIV1 as the 7th team instead of Bangla/Zim and WI!

They still deserve to play in DIV2 one series or one match won't change that

Sure, but the implication clearly was that they are only good for playing with the small nations .. only for them to beat Aus by over a 100 runs

SL have won 4 of their last 10 Test series - two of them away from home. Not an amazing record, but fairly decent !!

England away and Pakistan at home (Good) but let's not talk about WI and Bangla any team in the top 7 can win against them. (TEST)

SL is going through an extended transitional phase and have still managed a couple of overseas wins. I don't see how they are on the same level as Bangladesh, Zimbabwe and West Indies

Wow, never thought Australia would be this weak in Sri Lanka. Based back in 2011, Aus won 1-0 (3) so I was saying that based on this. In India and Pakistan/UAE, you'd expect Austraila to struggle, but in Sri Lanka, some pitches do faster fast bowling while the rest spin friendly. (Seamer friendly some cause otherwise, why would Binny play at the P Sara Oval last year?) Subcontinent always brings the worst of the Aus team
