Australia tour of West Indies March-April 2011/12

Australia squad: Michael Clarke, Shane Watson, Michael Beer, Ed Cowan, Peter Forrest, Brad Haddin, Ryan Harris, Ben Hilfenhaus, Mike Hussey, Nathan Lyon, James Pattinson, Ricky Ponting, Peter Siddle, Mitchell Starc, Matthew Wade, David Warner.

As expected really, only question mark was if they would take another specialist batsmen but it seems they are happy with Wade filling in if need be.

wanted a second spinner, he had a good season. not surprising, sometimes the wickets are a bit dusty. no sabina but no providence either. it's hard to say. if the pitches play like last year, then probably any accurate attack will be able to get wickets.

AUSTRALIA: Shane Watson (capt), David Warner, Peter Forrest, Michael Hussey, David Hussey, George Bailey, Matthew Wade, Dan Christian, Brett Lee, Clint McKay, Xavier Doherty

Bit more power in the batting, bowling could be suspect if Christian goes for runs.

George Bailey is likely to debut and play at injured skipper Clarke's number 4 position.

team was named last night

reckon hes out, or close to it, very usual watson

Looked dead to me with the naked eye, struck just outside the line though according to the replay, but I couldn't complain about it being given if it had been.

Looks like Australia is also gonna get a shocker today as well.

Tough batting conditions, so I think 205 is defendable with our bowling and Windies fragile batting. Was hoping to see a competitive series, hopefully they keep their standards up, will only get harder for them as we adjust to the conditions.

India failing overseas = flat track bullies
Australia failing overseas = tough wicket

The wicket looks like a classic sub continent wicket.

What he said is absolutely true. Australia off late have struggled on tough SC kind of tracks. But still feel West Indies will lose by 100 runs
