Australia tour of West Indies

Australia got lucky. I can't wait to see gayle and taylor back again.

How can you say we were lucky  taking wickets is not an easy task . Only 1 bowler is bolwing . Stuey Clarke ;) In that case you are also lucky Haydos not playing .

1st ball i see and Jaggernaut got out..

Detroit500 added 1 Minutes and 47 Seconds later...

its not but you didn't play a 100% team and still struggled.

Thats more like it from Lee, Clark showed again why he is up there with the best pacemen in the world. Johnson surely must be under pressure to keep his spot, to not get a wicket in the 2nd inns on that wicket is a real worry.

bigger battle in the 2nd test.
To Antigua.
The ground of Records.

You have to feel for the West Indies, the pitch was kind of tricky. but they try hard, but fail.

with Gayle and Taylor back, we may have a better competition.

i cant belive it west indies were top of the aussies i thought westindies will win but agian there batting let them down

well really disappointed with this 2nd innings score. nobody except the tail enders stepped it up, openers failed (beginning to sound like a Pakistan fan) and Shiv couldn't do it twice.
But I am pleased with the effort the bowlers put in. Edwards was brilliant in both innings and he needs to keep it up. The support he got in the 2nd innings was good and hopefully Taylor can come back and give him some good support int he next 2 tests.
Parchment should never play a test match for WI again, I would rather have Simmons or Barath instead of him.
Props to Australia this is why they are the best and the most underrated player on the team gets them the win, Clarke is really a class bowler. Too bad that he is 32ish but he can go for another 3-4 years if he stays fit.

Dare: I don't want to start, because there will be no end and PC administrators might even ban me. So congrats to the Aussies and their fans, Clark is right up there with the rest in my mind and he keep proving it every test, and Roy should be given a little respect, I keep hearing that he is not test match material, yet he keep doing it even when the best fails, take a bow Roy you played very well.
Dare: You have it for Parchment, I mean come on this is just his second test, but what of Devon Smith?

I agree with you about Parchment.
But If C Gayle is back he will replace Parchment.

As for Amit. J I think Taylor will replace him.

West Indies have C Gayle and Sarwan who can do the spin, if it is demand, both don't bowl that bad.

Maybe bring in R Hinds also, a good test batsman.
I would like to see P Browne makes his Test debut, he is a talented batsman/ keeper, if not C Baugh is also a good batsman/ keeper but a little short.

Because Ramdin isn't doing nothing much with the bat.

For the 2nd Test I would change up the team a little.
Don't risk any spinner against Aussie, because they can play spin great.

well yea it is his 2nd test but Simmons has a better domestic record and is better in my opinion. And so is Barath obviously and he has a much better up side. I never backed Smith, for the last year I have been saying that there are much better players in the Caribbean than him, his domestic record is good but he just hasn't been able to transfer it into good scores internationally. 3 half centuries and one century in 23 tests doesn't cut it for me. But I think that the currents coach can see that and he will probably make changes in that department by the end of the year.

Parchment was horrible, talk about folding and not even looking good at it. :D

With Gayle and Taylor back, they will replace Parch and Jaggernaut..but we really need to find another players to really solidify the opening batting with Gayle. I was thinking maybe Chattergoon or bringing in someone new?

Like I expected, Australia won the match. Even when they were in a difficult position at some time, but I predicted someone would guide Australia to a secure lead and that guy turned out to be Symonds.

Nevertheless good competition by the West Indies.
